Matt, again, your hatred for the US is causing cognitive dissonance. The law requiring the removing of children from adults while they are being vetted was signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1997. 21 years ago is hardly "last month."
Obama was turning them loose. Many of the kids were being sold as sex slaves.
Once again, I have no hatred for the US; I hate what they are doing on this issue and what some Americans are becoming. This only became an issue last month owing to a change in policy/ implementation/ law/ call-it-what-you-want by the Trumpsters.
Yeah, so? We still have citizenship in our respective nations. The government is a secular institution and was placed in power By God. It does it's thing, and God does His.
Seventy years ago we were not 20 trillion dollars in debt. We have to dole out our compassion in a careful and financially sane manner. It is immoral what the politicians have done to our children and now grandchildren by saddling them with having to pay this enormous debt. As the Scriptures say, the borrower is slave to the lender and that is not a good thing.
As I said before, I want my government first and foremost to adhere to the Constitution of the United States and I see no where in the text of that document where the people should be taxed in order to give money to foreigners no matter what the circumstance. My government continually goes above and beyond the call of duty in this regard and the time has come for them to give out LESS of my hard earned taxpayer dollars, not MORE.
Charitable giving needs to come from the free will offering of the individual Christian, not the monolithic government which gets its money through the tip of a spear.

We have another issue in play here and that is the Democrat political party which has taken the position of caring more about foreigners than they do about the citizens their elected politicians are supposed to represent. Why is this? I will tell you that it all comes down to getting new voters in order to get back and maintain their power.
They have gone so far left that have alienated their traditional power base which consisted of the blue collar workers in this country. They need to curry favor with the newly arrived Hispanic voters that they need support from and that is why they go for such things such as sanctuary cities, drivers licenses for illegals, and even voting rights for them in local elections.
This latest hoopla by them in support of all these illegals is just one more example of this and their crocodile tears don't fool me one bit. They cry the blues for these "little children", but have absolutely no problem with slicing and dicing little babies in the womb, even up to the 9th month of gestation no less! They are fake, fake, fake, and all this reaction is designed to get just one thing - more votes.
