I don't think so. There is no Calvinist that believes eternal doesn't mean eternal.

I never said eternal doesn't mean eternal-I said some translations of for ever and ever and ever and so on meant age lasting and age of the ages--how can forever and forever mean eternal--is there 2 eternities ? can one eternity end and another one begin--so forever and forever translates into for the age of the ages---not for eternity and eternity ???

I understand your confusion--but please try and not to add words to my posts that are not there :godisgood::godisgood:

Amy..........the perpetual nature of "eternity" is not debated here..........................neither from an Arminian perspective nor the Calvinist one.

NO-ONE is debating the temporal nature of "eternity"............

Whatever YOUR definition is.........

I promise you.........
All Arminians agree with it.

well explain to me what that really means ?

Here u go:

http://www.middletownbiblechurch.org/doctrine/faust.htm

J.D. Faust published a book in 2002 entitled The Rod--Will God Spare It? It was published by Schoettle Publishing Company, the same company that published Joseph Dillow's book, The Reign of the Servant Kings. This publishing house specializes in authors (such as Govett, Lang, Panton, Pember, etc.) who teach that unfaithful saved people will be excluded from the kingdom (or in Dillow's case, excluded from reigning with Christ). Many of these men also believe in a partial rapture (Dillow does not). Faust believes in "partial immortality," that is, only some believers are raised to immortality, but unfaithful believers are raised in mortal bodies and then are slain at the judgment seat and sent to be punished in the underworld for a thousand years. He teaches that the unfaithful believers will not be raised to immortality until after the millennium.

Yes you did. You're simply attempting to buy some time on BB. :wavey:

-I said some translations of for ever and ever and ever and so on meant age lasting and age of the ages--how can forever and forever mean eternal

Yep. There ya go. Eternal doesn't mean eternal. Your ME. Your deception grows!

--is there 2 eternities ? can one eternity end and another one begin--so forever and forever translates into for the age of the ages---not for eternity and eternity ???

More proof you're in Millennial Exclusion.

I understand your confusion

No you don't. You don't even see your own confusion.

--but please try and not to add words to my posts that are not there

'You're on to me but please don't expose me, I'm in covert operation mode'!!!! :wavey: :wavey:

Certainly those mods and admins here are aware of your ME objective.

Yes, and redefine words as well.

You will not back out of this statement Amy.............

YOU SAID IT!!!!!

I submitted to the internet writ large that Calvinism "re-defines" words to their satisfaction...........and you gave me PRECISELY.....the ammunition I needed to prove it.

That's your loss. Take it as is, and grow there-with.
I say again.............Calvinism insists on a re-definition of words:
Yes, and redefine words as well

Do you believe that some disobedient saints will spend a time in outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth?

well the scripture did say that the servant that did not do what he knew to do would be beaten with many stripes -- and also have the same portion with the unbelievers--so pls tell me your view of this--I believe it is a servant of the lord(believer)there is a contrast between believer and unbeliever here being made--you cant get around it--I didn't say this Christ did:godisgood:

HW is debating the word eternity or everlasting or forever. I have debated with these guys before. He is a Millennial Exclusionist.
And you're right. It has nothing to do with Calvinism or Arminianism.

It was a yes or no question. Let's try again.

Do you believe that some disobedient saints will spend a time in outer darkness with weeping and gnashing of teeth?

K............perhaps I might indeed shut-up for a minute since I appear not to actually comprehend what I'm talking about. I might have been randomly running my mouth in ignorance...........

Carry on Amy! My mistake.:wavey:
Go Get 'em!!!

I just quoted you what the Lord himself said--why are you rejecting his words ?

Your witness.

And you show how deceived you are. This is not a surprise -- such is seen in your behavior and within those birds of feather you flock with, with you agreeing and sharing in their lies and deception.

How shameful.

Amy has more grace and Bible knowledge than you'll ever gain in your current dishonest and malicious state. When you get out of said state it will take you years to catch up to her.

You've shown what and who you are by engaging and endorsing a pathological liar and in twisting truth along with him.

God help you and have mercy upon you in your self deception.

Jonah, being a type of Christ, was not the express image. He being in the whale's belly for three days and three nights was a symbol of what Christ was to have to do later on. I quoted Matt. 12:40 before, and will do so again;

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

You need to brush up on the differences betwixt figurative and literal languages.....

I do NOT reject the Lord's words!!! I reject YOURS!

Now please answer my question. If you believe what you do as truth, you should not have any problem admitting it openly.

That.........I'm aware of and I admit. I think the WORLD of AMY .............so much so, that I don't Patronize her, but rather I treat her as an equal....she has already smacked me down in this thread as someone who was posting in ignorance and she was right.....She corrected me when I was wrong.....and I admit it. What then is your point?

Here's the reality super-stud......."Amy" (not you) a woman (not you) was right enough, smart enough and Biblically sound enough to correct me when I was OBVIOUSLY mistaken and speaking foolishly........

You weren't half the man "Amy" was..........nor will you ever be...put it in your pipe and smoke it you arrogant ass.
