Healing not part of the Atonement in that we are promised divine health and wealth, but are promised all spiritual blessings in Christ now!So you agree you have faith (assurance) you are saved & Jesus could heal?
Physical healing not promised to us in the Atonement, except as in glorification at Second Coming event! So how was Epaphroditus healed?
Without faith in the atonement which also heals, God is not pleased.
Healing or salvation is not the primary issue. Faith in Christ's atonement which pleases God is.
Yes, but ONLY in that sense!yes - with healing COULD HEAL does not necessitate WILL HEAL.
Of course healing is guaranteed in the resurrection.
So in that way healing is part of the atonement.
wrong - healing in Christ's atonement IS a good thing of which i affirm. do your words betray you?The issue isn't about good things but about assurance of healing in Christ's atonement for every believer.
how can something in the Bible be unbiblical?Using paul's thorn to justify being sick is unbiblical.
Because he has not returned yet!If salvation is part of the atonement and we are saved now, why not healing which you agree is also part of the atonement?
Secondly, "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:25)". If healing is guaranteed in the resurrection and Jesus is the resurrection, why not healing be guaranteed in the now?
The Apostles themselves suffered jail, pain, sickness, trials and tribulations, any reason we should not?The issue isn't about good things but about assurance of healing in Christ's atonement for every believer.
Using paul's thorn to justify being sick is unbiblical.
So Doctors are not given by God for healing, nor medicine? Do we just positive confess until blue in the face and then die? Were you privy to the specifics of the active will of God regarding salvation alone and not regarding healing?
Is "not being privy" another way of saying "Help me my unbelief about healing" according to Mark 9:24?
Paul's thorn was due to exalting himself (2 Corinthians 12:7) rather than exalt Christ's grace through faith. Are you exalting your self efforts, doctors etc for healing?
Healing not part of the Atonement in that we are promised divine health and wealth, but are promised all spiritual blessings in Christ now!
how so Yeshua, Christ has healed me on more than one occasion before the resurrection.Yes, but ONLY in that sense!
All spiritual promisesYou haven't answered as to whether epaphroditus was healed apart from faith in the atonement?
What does 2 Corinthians 1:20 mean?
So Doctors are not given by God for healing, nor medicine? Do we just positive confess until blue in the face and then die?
God can and does at times still divinely heal, but that is His choice to do such, as not promised in the Cross, as that was spiritual healing provided for us!how so Yeshua, Christ has healed me on more than one occasion before the resurrection.
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
i prayed, healing came, it wasn't from the devil.
no i am not "charismatic".
Did you learn this from kenneth Copeland, hagin, or Hinn?Doctors are primarily for those without faith in the atonement.
Doctors treat. They cannot heal. Don't worship doctors.
You'll indeed turn blue if you confess promises without faith in His atonement for healing.
All spiritual promises
Did you learn this from kenneth Copeland, hagin, or Hinn?
Isaiah and peter both agree that the Cross provides spiritual, not physical healing!Everything was created by and from God who is Spirit. All materials came from God who is Spirit.
Every blessings are spiritual.
Isaiah and peter both agree that the Cross provides spiritual, not physical healing!
Healing was done by Jesus and His Apostles in Acts, bujt is not the norm since that time!Scripture is for the elect which includes Mathew 8:17. Was epaphroditus healed by his family doctor?
The Apostles themselves suffered jail, pain, sickness, trials and tribulations, any reason we should not?
Healing was done by Jesus and His Apostles in Acts, bujt is not the norm since that time!
Luke passage nothing to do with sickness and ilness and believer!Luke 21: 36: "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen".
If you want to suffer do so. But don't unbiblically prevent others who believe in Christ's atonement for escaping sufferings.
