OK, without first answering everything you bring up, I must point out that you did not answer my question. How is the judgment seat of Christ the last day?
Where does it say that the judgement seat of Christ must be defined as the "last day." Recognize also that the "last day," "last days," "day of the Lord," "Day of Christ," "end of the age," and other such terms all have various meanings, and some of these terms have more than one meaning. Usually the meaning is determined by the context in which the word or phrase is used.
The real konfusion stems from not separating the judgment seat of Christ from the last day.
I am not confused here. The judgement seat of Christ takes place in heaven during the Tribulation period. It is a judgement for believers only on the basis of their works. They will be rewarded on the basis of their works. The event is described very well in 1Cor.3:11-15.
Just because you appear before Christ at the judgment seat, how do you know you will not again appear before the great white throne?
Because I believe what the Bible says. I have already posted my reasons for this twice now. Go and read the context from Revelation 20:10-15, and find for me one verse (yea one word) that points to any believer standing before God at the Great White Throne Judgement. It can't be done. And none of you have taken up that challenge and done so. The entire passage speaks of the DEAD, the spiritually dead, those that are from Hell. It is the DEAD that stands before God; not the living. The living are those that have been born again (born from above--given new life). These are the dead--spiritually dead. God is judging all unbelievers. This is very evident from the context. Point to anywhere in those ten verses where a believer is present.
If a believer is promised to be raised up on the last day, by what means do you assert that all Christians will be raised up before the last day?
Context is everything. Perhaps the last day for the believer is when the rapture takes place before the tribulation. As I mentioned different words have different meanings depending on their context. When the rapture takes place there will be no believers outside of Israel until the Second Coming. Then we will return with our glorified bodies. You are building an entire theology around this one word (phrase) "last day." If the meaning is not what you think it is, your whole theology falls apart.
I posted the verse about believing that He is a rewarder to show that if you are not working with your eye to the reward of reigning in His kingdom, you will not please God.
That is a false assumption, and a wrong theology. The Kingdom is always spoken of in reference to the nation of Israel, not to us. When Christ comes to set up His Kingdom, He will be coming first and foremost for the nation of Israel. "So then all Israel shall be saved." (Romans 11:26). Our labour is done now on this earth for the Lord Jesus Christ with Heaven in mind, not the Kingdom.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain
in the Lord.
--"In the Lord," not "for the Kingdom."
2 Corinthians 5:9 Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him. (WEB)
--We labor to be well pleasing to Christ, not for His Kingdom.
This has nothing to do with eternal salvation, so asserting that you have salvation, I say Amen! Now race for the prize like Paul told you to. Just because Christ paid the penalty for your sin, doesn't mean He cannot chasten you for not living an obedient life now that you HAVE been saved!
The only chastening that the Lord will ever perform on his children is right here on this earth, and there is no Biblical evidence of any other. The other so-called evidence that you speak of is speculative, and a copy cat Roman Catholic-like doctrine, with no basis in Scripture. God chastens us on this earth according to Hebrews chapter 12.
You have holes in your theology. How do you know if you are worthy to be in the Kingdom. How do you know if your relationship is right? How do you know if you have done all that your master has demanded of you?
Take the two greatest commandments, for example.
Mark 12:28-31 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Do you keep the first of the greatest commandments? Do you love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength?
I don't believe you, and I hope you won't lie to me. I don't believe any one does. It is impossible. Do you give God all of your mind--your thoughts and attentions 100% of the time. Never does an evil thought enter into your mind. Your mind is always pure. You never have one slip of the tongue, not one lie, one angry word, one thing said in gossip, not even a thought that should have never been there. All of your thoughts are 100% focused on Christ and on him alone. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with
all of thy mind, not just part of it, ALL of it, and all of it all of the time.
The same holds true of your body. Have you given your body over to serve the Lord in love all of the time with all of your strength? All your strength, humanly speaking is given to serving God. Whether that means pounding the streets knocking on doors, holding street meetings, spending arduous hours in prayer, constant hours of visitation, and just giving yourself over for the sake of others and for Christ. Do you give your entire body, a living sacrifice for Christ 100% of the time. There is not one moment of the time that you have just for yourself. It is given all to Christ: 24/7?
Do you really love God this much? All of your heart? All of your mind? All your body? All of your strength? I don't think so.
Likewise: "Love your neighbor as yourself." The Bible also says that "no man ever hated his own body." We all like to indulge ourselves.
If we really loved our neighbors (the world) as ourselves, we would look at the world, and consider what would be the neediest nations in the world, and go to them with the gospel, hardships notwithstanding, and spend our lives in mission work "giving the gospel to those who have never heard of it before (our neighbors--the world) because we love them with the love of Christ. So, will you go to Saudia Arabia, China, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Khazekistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, etc. Some of the most needy countries of the world that need the gospel. Do you love them as your self? If you do you will sacrifice yourself and go to them with the gospel and tell them ofthe love of Christ. After all some one told you didn't they?
You don't really love your neighbor as yourself do you?
Based on these two commandments, and your dismal failure to obey them, I would conclude that by your own theology that you would remain in your holding place for the entire 1000 year period and perhaps even longer. The cruelty that you have shown to your neighbor (world-wide) is no doubt something to be ashamed of (by the majority of most American Christians).
