Oh no! I am in the Devils Church.

Save me brother,

Show us where the bible says it is the FINAL and ONLY authority. TELL THE TRUTH. Is it BIBLICAL or UNBIBLICAL.

GOD is on your side. Show me the bible verse that upholds your glorious truth.

Lets not be this who makes MAN MADE traditions and adds FAKE RULES that are not written in scripture.

I couldn't save myself, I certainly cannot save you.

The Good News is that Christ can and does!

To God alone be glory!

When I believe something I got scripture to show for it, And i don't even have to add commentary for anyone to know what I think it means.

James 2
24You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

2If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

Now when I turn the tables. I am asking for one verse for what you hold as the #1 rule which you guys claim is written in scripture.

Showing me that verse should be the easiest thing in the world.

Show us where the bible says it is the FINAL and ONLY authority.

If this is UNBIBLICAL I want to hear you SAY THAT THEN.

If its BIBLICAL, then FOR PETE's SAKE show me the verse!

And how do you know what God has said?
We take it on faith. Faith being also confidence and trust. You had to trust someone who put a bible in your hands. Who ever handed you that book you took as an authority. Of course that authority a minute afterwards can say its the book.

You kind of beat me in posting speed. I was going to add I totally believe the bible is true, The bible is perfect, And it is possible to learn everything you need in it.

It is a tool, Just like a Car is useful, folks can still run over other people with it. Peter Warns about scripture alone: Without proper guidance can be dangerous.

2 Peter 3
16as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Amen scripture is beautiful, perfect, word of God. I don't want anyone adding or taking away from it.

That is not the only channel I hear from God.

I learned about God long before I learned how to read. My authority were my parents, their authority was the church.

A person can claim to be atheist and God can and does speak to them. Without ever hearing any scripture.

Romans 1

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

There is the sum total of Scripture friend!

Seriously, find the verse that says "don't drink Drano".

And your lack of commentary is explained by the fact that you rely on someone else, an antichrist, to interpret it for you.

It'd be laughable if it weren't so sad.

Besides, you've already stated my case for me when you agreed that Scripture is in fact perfect, inerrant and complete for the purposes of salvation and sanctification.

Thank you.

Would've been easier and faster without all those detours discussing the blasphemous lies of the RCC.

I did make one error when I said that "you can't make this stuff up."

Take it easy friend.

And may the grace and peace of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ release you from the pharisaical lies of your Tradition.

God bless!

1 Cor. 10:21
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons.

1 Cor. 10:22
Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

I would say it matters.

The cup of the Lord? You said that the Lord is not in the cup, so which is it now?

Just as well I'm not then but, rather, the sure promise that Jesus meant what He said when He said "This is My Body, this is My Blood"; "unless you eat My Flesh and drink My Blood, you have no part in Me".

Unless you think Jesus practised witchcraft?
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

The Lord Jesus Christ Condemned the Religious leaders of His Day for valuing their traditions higher than the Word of God.

The religious leaders of His day were following the Word of God, known to them through the OT Scriptures.

You may be able to get away with that with someone who has no experience in the RCC; however, I was raised it it, and the "gospel" of the RCC is not the gospel of Christ or Paul.

Some come on genius, what does the Church teach if not salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ? And do you have an altar in your church?

Moreover, God Himself has explicitly instructed us to kill heretics, to smite with the sword any city that abandons the worship of the true faith revealed by Him.--John Calvin.
I searched for this quote you attributed to Calvin. In one article it said it was from his comments on Ez. 22:20. But I was not able to locate it.

You need to be able to cite a quote more accurately and with context --if in fact the 'quote' is authentic.

______________________________________________________________________________________
But getting back to your lack of honesty after I called you on it --I will do so again.

Luther and Calvin did not drown anyone -AnaBaptist or not --nor did they supervise such an activity. Your credibility is proving to be zilch.

You rightly quoted Paul when he said the Church is the Pillar and Buttress of Truth--Meaning--we Hold up the Truth--the Word of God. The Scriptures are our only source of Truth. The Church proclaims God's Truth.

Paul told Timothy to Proclaim, "The Word." The Scriptures. Jesus Said in the Scriptures we Find Life and they are What Testify of Him. Christ said we will Worship God in Spirit and in Truth-The Scriptures declare the Truth.
