"Thou shalt not kill"
No, "Thou shalt not murder." Look up the Hebrew. If God meant "thou shalt not kill even if it is not murder," then He would have been commanding His people to break the Decalogue with every single person they were to kill when they entered the Promised Land.

And David praised God for his ability to kill in battle: "Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight" (Ps. 144:1).

All of us have made that decision, but still have careers still, so what you was doing was sinful or illegal?
I was unequally yoked with unbelievers as a musician. I tried to "Christianize" my career but It made me double minded. I spent more time on it than on Christ. I abandoned it starting from scratch living the Sermon on the Mount. That became my career. There are Career Christians (Matthew 6:24-34), and Christians with careers.

Jesus Himself leads the attack at his second coming, as the army of the Lord kills off those coming against Christ in the End, so He did not mean forever not able to fight!
It says Jesus destroys them with the brightness of his coming.

Alice Cooper and many other Christians, such as Johnny Cash, have managed to blend the music and ministry for the lord though!

there is also the passage where his has his flaminf angels reek destruction upon those who have denied Him!
This will be at the end of the world when the universe passes away and the New Heavens and Earth come into being.

Did they what? Have a ministry in the realm of music after salvation?
I know several who think they developed their music careers into a means of serving Christ. But it was all about them parading their skills about seeking their own glory. And mentioning Jesus as though doing him a favor by adding their endorsement to his cause. Not to mention packing Arminian churches with the naive just as they used to pack the barrooms.

Playing churches bothered my conscience too, not just bars.

So you are able to discern another motives, and know what is on their hearts and mind? All Christians in music field, tv, movies are just worldly entertainers, out for almighty dollar and fame?

Yes, but there a reign of Christ here upon the earth for 1000 years before that happens!
Not so. Jesus said his kingdom is not of this world. There are several other reasons too. One reason the Jews rejected Jesus was because he was related to Jeconiah, not just through Joseph, but Mary too. And God forever cursed Jeconiah's descendents from reigning in Jerusalem.
