How about he Obama's? Has any of his children served in our nations armed forces? Or Clinton's little girl Chelsea, which branch was she in? Let's go down the line on all the Democrats. Pelosi, Hoyer, Lewis, all the big congressional Dems, have their children served? Have they themselves served?
OK.... if I can then start with Republicans.... you might just find that your disappointed with both parties.

Unmet expectations of what other people should do (especially regarding showing respect) can feel very disappointing and can cool relationships. Happens between husbands and wives, parents and children, workers in the workplace, church members and politicians.

I wonder how much benefit and restoration we might get by focusing more on what people do well and applauding, affirming those successes.

The following is from that link:

There are other ways to be of service than combat. And John Gordon Trump more or less eliminated the threat of Hitler’s air corp by inventing radar for the military. Donald, the now President, earned a deferment by becoming John’s bodyguard.

You can be absolutely positively sure beyond any shadow of a doubt that there is a connection between John Gordon Trump, Donald John Trump, Nikola Tesla, and nuclear weapons. The Hydrogen Bomb dropped on Japan was detonated by the device manufactured from the designs of Nikola Tesla and John Gordon Trump.

Nikola Tesla died in New York. All of his writing were confiscated by the Government and turned over to John Gordon Trump for review. The Trump family may have earned a lifetime deferment.
Lifetime deferments are not given to my knowledge. There is the "sole surviving son" deferment but Trump certainly didn't qualify for that. He dodged the draft with a fake medical condition. A lot of young men did that in that time. If he would just admit that it would be understandable. Instead he continues to lie.

Let's go through all the Republicans. How many of their children have served?

He honored our fallen in this holiday weekend. Just because he didn't do it your way doesn't make him wrong and it makes you look petty.
It is traditional for the President to honor the fallen military men by going to Arlington Cemetery to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. How did Trump honor them? By playing golf?

He didn’t honor them the way our country always did, and that is by being in Arlington at the appointed place and at the appointed time. The entire world, especially the families of our countries fallen sailors, soldiers, Marines did not see the presence of their highest elected official their yesterday. Then if they inquired as to his whereabouts on this most solemn of occasions they would have found that he was in Japan OF ALL PLACES (playing golf and watching a sumo wrestling match). And I’m petty!?! And you are the one pictured in the uniform, well ‘Semper Fidelis’ brother.

Again couldn’t he or his crack administrative staff had looked at a calendar and made a schedule that was more accommodating? Guess not, not for this stable genius. I wonder out loud if Trump even has any military on his staff to correct him stepping on himself.... or does he even really care?

Oh I don’t know, do bone spurs go away on their own or do they require surgery?

This isn't a wise move. If things really start to come down the side that the military goes with will win.

I don't know. I used to deal with various foot problems (like Plantar fasciitis) but not a bone spur. Actually, when asked which foot it was on he couldn't answer the question. I guarantee that everyone who failed a draft physical during the Vietnam war remembers why. I think it wasn't real.

I also just looked up the current Dept of Defense. The position was vacated by Marine Corps General James Mattis. Who is running it now? A civilian named Patrick Shanahan, formally a executive at Boeing. Another nasty civilian. America needs allot more military discipline than a Boeing suit.

Actually the Chair of the JCS (as well as each chief) do NOT run the military - they are basically advisors and set some policy - it is the Sec of the DOD and the POTUS that actually run the military.
