See post 96Nobody is questioning that God credited faith as righteousness. But where did that faith come from?

Either God gave that saving faith to Abraham as a gift, or else Abraham choosing God was God saving him by rewarding him for something that Abraham now did! He contributed to his salvation.Just read Romans 4:4-5 and see if God credited Abraham's faith as righteousness. Just read it, there folks simply deny scripture.
If that faith was not a gift from God, then Abraham did something to earn and merit salvation, by choosing to exercise his faith, so works mixed with grace here per Van!Nobody is questioning that God credited faith as righteousness. But where did that faith come from?

Paul disagrees with you on this, so God does also! The gift of faith is false doctrine. That God credits the faith of some believers as righteousness is true doctrine. I supported by view from scripture, Romans 4.
Post 96 didn't really tell me anything. Van where does faith come from?See post 96
Yeah that didn't actually answer the question.See post 64
You have made that false claim over and over, but never supported it. Ephesians 2:8-10 supports my view.Paul disagrees with you on this, so God does also!
Ephesians 2:8-10
Asked and answered. Personal incredulity as rebuttal is a logical fallacy.Post 96 didn't really tell me anything. Van where does faith come from?
The question was answered. Please stop wasting posts with taint so posts.Yeah that didn't actually answer the question.
No Van, it actually wasn't. How is it within the semantic range and proper to add the word yet in the translation? You did not answer it you just said your beliefs say so so it must be so.The question was answered. Please stop wasting posts with taint so posts.
You can claim it was answered all you want. Why not just spell it out? WHERE does faith come from?Asked and answered. Personal incredulity as rebuttal is a logical fallacy.
Only in a delusional mind. You have made that false claim over and over, but never supported it. Ephesians 2:8-10 supports my view.

This is all they have folks, insult and disparage, see such posts as waving the white flag of surrender.Only in a delusional mind.
Paul stated to us in the Greek that both the faith and salvation are to us the gift of God in Christ, correct? This is all they have folks, insult and disparage, see such posts as waving the white flag of surrender.
Adding words that change the message come from the presumptions of the translators. Adding words that clarify the message come from God's truth.
