That is a perversion of the actual Scripture, and the evidence is in Deuteronomy 24. Jesus NEVER said anything contrary to the Law, He came to fulfill, not make "exceptions". </font>
Unbelievable ... Ralph still is callign the words of God in human flesh a "perversion of actual Scripture." And he still doesn't know what Deut 24 says. Deut 24 allows remarriage, even assumes remarriage.

Why do we tolerate such things?
</font>
I've often wondered about why we tolerate it myself. But, he's at the moderators mercy. One thing I have noticed is that he'd like to nullify grace with the law, which was fulfilled in Christ. If Christ said it, it wasn't an exception, yet Ralph would like it to be interpreted as such. Incredible how some can twist the scriptures to fit their own warped views.

The only thing that matters is what the Bible says, MW. Some here would have us believe that the Bible contradicts itself. Not good.

It's not the number of quotations, my friend . . . it's what's inside 'em that's confusing me. I can't even tell who is on what side anymore.

Well, some of us are on the Lord's side...and some of us are on "the other" side! (And I don't mean the twilight zone!) :eek:

The Catholic Church is not binding on Baptists, that's for sure. But even they do not embrace adultery, divorce and sin the way some here do.

Who of you here disagrees with Jesus, and says that such a person does not commit adultery? Be honest.

Manchester....

Mat 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication , causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

So, does Christ contradict himself?

I visited one of those "liberal" Catholic seminaries ...

Thank GOD! They do not get so liberal that they "embrace adultery, divorce and sin the way some here do."

Sorry, folks, my bad ... I didn't know there was an ongoing joke. My apologies. I just saw the comment and it seemed out of place.

Maybe our men could step up to the plate and become "husbands of one wife" ...

... Is what God ordained that "bad"?
