As far as textual error. How would you know since there are no original text to begin with which to compare scripture with.. Your claims that there are errors in the KJV speaks volumes about your real motives to discredit the KJB. You have failed to prove your point.
The KJV has brought more people to Christ than any other version

Kjvo have think skins, as they blast off on the "corrupted" MV, and yet when all we do is point out that the Kjv as mistakes in it, that the TR is not perfect, seen as "attacking and putting down: the Kjv!
That’s incorrect and you missed the point of the quote. It was about focusing on a supposed textual error vs making it about KJO. Shoot off the hip all you want about it as it’s nothing we haven’t seen. That wasn’t the point of the thread hence the quote.

Yes but the thought is the same just worded differently. The reason the NKJV is not a revised version of the KJV, they are unaffiliated. The thought that the New King James version is in fact a new version of the KJV is false. They just wanted to sell Bibles so they stole the name. misleading people in to thinking that it is the New King James. In my opinion they are completely different.

The NKJV used the same mss. the KJV used, but included a few that were discovered after 1611.

I had to laugh when I read what you wrote! Firstly, I am NOT anti KJV/TR, as I believe that God in His Providence has blessed this English Version, like no other in the history of the Bible. I use the KJV, because it represents most of what has gone before, like the Geneva, Bishops, Great, Matthews, etc, and still holds a very important place in thousands of Churches and millions of Christains around the world. However, we must speak the truth, even when it seems painful, as it would to lovers of this Version, and those who are KJVO.

Did you know, that before the first English translation by John Wycliffe, in the 14th century, here in England, which he made from the Latin Vulgate, that the Latin was the most widely used Version is Christendom? And many millions were led to Jesus Christ through this Version!

Luke 1:35 is an important verse for the Virgin Conception of the Lord Jesus Christ. Note the readings in the KJV and NKJV.

KJV, "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God2

NKJV, "And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God"

The NKJV has removed two little words, "of thee", which is in the KJV, and the oldest and best textual evidence. "ἐκ σοῦ", being in the singular, literally, "out of you", excludes Joseph as the actual father of Jesus Christ, and shows that Jesus' "human nature" is consubstantial, with that from Mary, and therefore, the human race!

What text was the NKJV following here? The KJV is 100% RIGHT in this reading.

I to this day have not ever seen a perfect version. it just does not exist. The Vulgate wasn't perfect.
What is important in my opinion is that even in the worst of translations has enough in it to bring men to Christ. This never ceases to amaze me.

I agree! I once heard that a Jehovah's Witness was truly "born-again" and accepted Jesus Christ as Almighty God, after he was reading their New World Translation! God is much Greater than any Translation. He used the dumb ass in the Old Testament for His Truth!

Would you please tell me how He blessed it if you think it’s not inspired? Thanks.

The KJV is in my opinion, the best English translation that has been made, even though it does contain human errors. It has been used by far the most by the Lord in the over 400 years since it was first produced. As of 2017, the greater majority of Americans still use the KJV, more than double of the next, the NIV. Preferred Bible version in the U.S. 2017 | Statista

It is still probably used in the majority of English speaking Churches around the world, and will be for 100's of more years.

Countless millions have been blessed by this faithful translation, and millions have been led to Jesus Christ through it, like I was!

But, as it is a translation, is cannot be "God-breathed", as the Original Autographs were.

Appreciate the response (though I disagree with the last sentence.)

Show how I am wrong
If you insist on going off track from OP.
Through preservation of the originals that were inspired, those words don’t cease to be inspired today in the KJB.
I want to share something that a friend wrote on preservation:

“God promised he would make his words generally available to future believers (Cf. Deuteronomy 29:29). We know the words that proceed from God because they are written and preserved (Cf. Matthew 4:4). The churches of Jesus Christ received the words of Jesus and were built upon them (Cf. Matthew 16:16-18; John 17:8; Ephesians 2:20), in turn becoming a pillar and ground of that truth, guarding and keeping the words entrusted (e.g. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Timothy 6:20-21).https://www.baptistboard.com/file:/...levant to doctrine of preservation.docx#_edn1

“In practical terms this [Ephesians 2:20] means that the church is built on the New Testament Scriptures. They are the church’s foundation documents. And just as a foundation cannot be tampered with once it has been laid and the superstructure is being built upon it, so the New Testament foundation of the church is inviolable and cannot be changed by any additions, subtractions or modifications offered by teachers who claim to be apostles or prophets today. The church stands or falls by its loyal dependence on the foundation truths which God revealed to his apostles and prophets, and which are now preserved in the New Testament Scriptures.” – The Message of Ephesians, John R. W. Stott, (The Bible Speaks Today series) Downers Grove, IL: Inter Varsity Press, 1989, p. 107

2 Timothy 3:15-17 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” God gave the Scriptures by inspiration. The first under consideration is the Old Testament, then “all scripture.” Timothy did not have the original documents of the Old Testament, but was reading copies of them – which Paul had no problem calling the Holy Scriptures. All scripture, the Old Testament already concluded and the New Testament still being written, stands as the source of everything we need for faith and practice. If these have not been preserved in some fashion, we have not what we need for faith and practice. If the churches are to teach all things Christ commanded during the time he would always be with them, then they must have access to these teachings. We must, and we believe we do! (Matthew 28:18-20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

NONE here are anti Kjv, its just that KJVO mindset is that if one does not accept their myth of a perfect translation, means must be anti kjv!

The Nkjv is stating that God was His father, and that Jesus is the very Son of God, so?

ALL reputable translations are the word of God to us in the native language, as they would be infallible witness to the truths and doctrines of God!
