Exactly Mrs Obama admitted no such thing as the title implies. She says he was born in Hawaii - that makes him a naturla born citizen, whether adopted by a non-citizen or not.

Why doesn't McCain have to show his?
The very fact that you would post this shows you haven't bothered enough to view the video link I posted, because this question was answered in it by the attorney, Mr. Berg.

LeBuick said:Again, a guy name his site Obama Crimes? The same guy who decided we don't trust his birth certificates so lets file a law suite. You want to push this as a non-biased factual site? Go ahead, not even McCain is questioning his citizenship.

Crabtownboy said:Oh boy! You are going to confuse the Obama haters with the facts. You'd better duck. This while idea was and is so far fetched that no rational person could have seriously thought that any person could have reached the point of running for president if they were not a native born citizen.
I discounted this one as soon as I heard it as it is an impossibility. I wish I knew how to paste the image of the birth certificate in this message. Oh well ...........

LadyEagle said:Yeh, well, I did a little fact checking on my own on Google. Seems PolitiFact is owned by the St. Petersburg Times which endorsed Barack Obama for President. There wouldn't be a "conflict of interest" would there?
Crabtownboy said:Using your logic then Fox news should not report anything positive about McCain since they endorsed him. If they do, again using your logic, they are guilty of conflict of interest.
C4K, you are right. Those who do not believe will never believe regardless of the impossibility of their idea, or the proof they are shown they are wrong.
Fox News has endorsed MaCain? When did that happen? Can you support that claim?Crabtownboy said:Using your logic then Fox news should not report anything positive about McCain since they endorsed him. If they do, again using your logic, they are guilty of conflict of interest.

I don't believe you are correct on this. I don't think the laws of Indonesia on dual citizenship would take away Obama's citizenship as a child (if he were born in the U.S.)windcatcher said:... But if he was adopted when Indonesia didn't recognize dual citizenship, then if he was an American citizen by birth, he lost it by adoption through the choice of his parents and when he returned to the states.... it was up to him to get it restored. The latter situation he has not addressed...
If Obama was a citizen at birth, he could rightfully maintain his citizenship regardless of what his parents did. Only he could taken steps as an adult to abandon his citizenship and he obviously has not done that. If, at the time of your birth, both your parents were U.S. citizens and at least one had a prior residence in the United States, you automatically acquired U.S. citizenship with no conditions for retaining it.
If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16. There are no conditions placed on retaining this type of citizenship. If your one U.S. citizen parent is your father and you were born outside of marriage, the same rules apply if your father legally legitimated you before your 21st birthday and you were unmarried at the time. If legitimation occurred after November 14, 1986, your father must have established paternity prior to your 18th birthday, either by acknowledgment or by court order, and must have stated in writing that he would support you financially until your 18th birthday. (emphasis mine)
Have to say I'm dissapointed in Snopes. They clearly have based their "determination" on heresay and no facts. They never witnessed the original certificate, yet they say the copy is genuine. How in the world do they know?monk said:
