Do you see anything wrong with a Christian at a night club drinking?
Maybe in my backslidden days I missed something, but from what I saw, EVERYTHING that goes on at night clubs is sin. Drinking, dancing, shooting pool, dancing some more, and hooking up.
Shootin pool?!?

Shooting pool in a night club always involved gambling. Hardly anyone shot for fun. It was all about the hustle.

As someone who once lived a rather rugged lifestyle (BC) I can say out of all the times I was in a bar shooting pool I never once gambled nor did I see anyone doing it.

That said I do not go into bars but I would not rule it out completely if I thought I might reach someone. I would not drink or engage in any of the typical behavior but I may go and sit with someone or shoot pool if I thought it might be beneficial. Up to this point I have never done that (AC).

Night clubs generally don't have pool. You're confusing night clubs with regular bars.

And, I second the position that most people in bars shooting pool are doing so just for fun.

In "The Music Man", the whole trouble affecting River City was the introduction of a pool table that would corrupt their youth. The solution was to get the youth involved in a marching band.

I had a pool table in my home from about 7 years old, and I never gambled on a game, nor went to a bar, nor joined a marching band (I was in orchestra). Lots of other bad things while unconverted, however.

Ever wondered why all the fights start at the pool tables? Money! I both frequented and bounced bars for a long time. I have a clue what was happening.

Don't know why you are pointing this out. Does anyone hold Donald Trump up as an example of moral character? Not to my knowledge. Not even Falwell.

Just goes to show your point. Trump is not a moral person, yet here is the son of the founder of the Moral Majority giving him thumbs up. Ironic, no?

Here's a question, do you give the same condemnation to Mike Pence when he praises the President?

Has Mike Pence stood next to Trump with a cover of Playboy magazine in the background giving him a thumbs up? Is Mike Pence the head of an evangelical university?

Does doing that mean he condones that previous behavior? Nope. Was it stupid of Falwell? You bet.

Are you suggesting that Trump is like Jesus?

Did Jesus give them a thumb's up?
How did you possibly get me comparing Jesus to Trump from what I wrote?

That being said you are making a false assumption that Falwell giving him a thumbs up has anything to do with anything other than his politics.
