Uh...yes there is.
I disagree. Legislative action of this nature requires mandated change.
The burden of proof is on you. Show us or apologize for your false statements.
Well there's a link above. Please show us exactly where death panels are included in the bill. You'll notice the bill is in its entirety and available for free. So please show us where they are in the bill.
The testimonies from working physicians around this nation has been truly disturbing. Last night a brain surgeon called into Mark Levin’s syndicated radio show and said that he had just recently visited Washington, D.C., to review President Obama’s new health care plan for advanced neurosurgical care for patients over 70 years old, issued by HHS (Health & Human Services). The plan, which includes “ethics panels,” states that if you are over 70 years old and on government-supported health care and you visit an emergency room, you will receive what they term “comfort care.”

The part in question, yes have you?Have you read the bill?
Folks go and read the following:
Sec. 3403. Independent Medicare Advisory Board at
http://housedocs.house.gov/energycommerce/ppacacon.pdf
The purpose of this Board is to reduce the cost of Medicare! As you read remember you are reading "1984" Speak!
Can you show us all where this is written in the law. If this man stated this the way it is written he lied.Sure:
SEC. 3403. INDEPENDENT øMEDICARE¿ [PAYMENT] ADVISORY BOARD.
The problem here is how it will likely be interpreted by the paper shufflers.

No that is not all it says. Why do you keep miss-representing the truth. Their purpose is to report to congress with suggestions on how to lower the costs, not do it themselves. Congress will make the call not them. They have no authority to do anything on their own.
No and evidently neither are you since you are passing on false information. Prove it wrong with a direct quote from the bill. You keep playing the same game that the world plays submitting false information.I agree that the bill is bad, but those who make false claims makes them bad as well.Is snopes divinely inspired? I think not!
Yea I know because you are spreading falsehoods about the bill and the things you claim are not in it to back you up..fal
If anyone wants to read for themselves they can. I am not goung to post long sections of the bill just to satisfy you. Feel free to do so if it will make you happy.
Some of us are not trying to dissect the bill...rather we are asking the folks making the grandiose statements about death panels to prove it by using the actual piece of legislation that is now law.
I have yet to see any of you all show us where these heinous death panels are, but I'll wait with anticipation for that most glorious moment.

Y'all please don't turn this into a thread of posting and dissecting that 2000 page mess.
No, the Advisory Board has no power to do anything. they simply make the recommendations. I do however think it's a forgone conclusion that if they make the recommendations, Congress will approve it if the liberals are in the majority.
What's the purpose of having an ADVISORY Board if you're not going to take it's advice?
