Under Obamacare the elderly will be severely mistreated and refused needed treatment because of their age. Obama is willing to murder the unborn and let the elderly die. Logans Run here we come.

Uh...yes there is.

Well there's a link above. Please show us exactly where death panels are included in the bill. You'll notice the bill is in its entirety and available for free. So please show us where they are in the bill.

I disagree. Legislative action of this nature requires mandated change.

The burden of proof is on you. Show us or apologize for your false statements.

This is beyond stupid. The law says what it says. I ain't apologizing for nothing.

Like it matters that you disagree. The law says what it says and it doesn't define what rationing is.

some of y'all too liberal for your own good.

Sure:

SEC. 3403. INDEPENDENT øMEDICARE¿ [PAYMENT] ADVISORY BOARD.

The problem here is how it will likely be interpreted by the paper shufflers.

http://www.ocregister.com/opinion/congress-359448-ipab-obamacare.html

The testimonies from working physicians around this nation has been truly disturbing. Last night a brain surgeon called into Mark Levin’s syndicated radio show and said that he had just recently visited Washington, D.C., to review President Obama’s new health care plan for advanced neurosurgical care for patients over 70 years old, issued by HHS (Health & Human Services). The plan, which includes “ethics panels,” states that if you are over 70 years old and on government-supported health care and you visit an emergency room, you will receive what they term “comfort care.”

Folks go and read the following:

Sec. 3403. Independent Medicare Advisory Board at

http://housedocs.house.gov/energycommerce/ppacacon.pdf

The purpose of this Board is to reduce the cost of Medicare! As you read remember you are reading "1984" Speak!

No that is not all it says. Why do you keep miss-representing the truth. Their purpose is to report to congress with suggestions on how to lower the costs, not do it themselves. Congress will make the call not them. They have no authority to do anything on their own.

I heard this man talking on some show!

As I said this 2700 page bill is written in "1984" speak. Who knows how many pages of regulations will be developed by the bureaucrats in DC. This bill if not repealed will destroy what Obama has left of the economy.

Is snopes divinely inspired? I think not!
No and evidently neither are you since you are passing on false information. Prove it wrong with a direct quote from the bill. You keep playing the same game that the world plays submitting false information.I agree that the bill is bad, but those who make false claims makes them bad as well.

Yea I know because you are spreading falsehoods about the bill and the things you claim are not in it to back you up..

The insanity of this bill is shown in the following section. here we have an appointed board telling an elected legislative body, the Senate, how they will conduct business.

‘‘(D) SENATE LIMITS ON DEBATE.—
‘‘(i) IN GENERAL.—In the Senate, consideration of
the bill and on all debatable motions and appeals in
connection therewith shall not exceed a total of 30
hours, which shall be divided equally between the ma-
jority and minority leaders or their designees.
‘‘(ii) MOTION TO FURTHER LIMIT DEBATE.—A mo-
tion to further limit debate on the bill is in order and
is not debatable.
‘‘(iii) MOTION OR APPEAL.—Any debatable motion
or appeal is debatable for not to exceed 1 hour, to be
divided equally between those favoring and those op-
posing the motion or appeal.
‘‘(iv) FINAL DISPOSITION.—After 30 hours of consid-
eration, the Senate shall proceed, without any further
debate on any question, to vote on the final disposition
thereof to the exclusion of all amendments not then
pending before the Senate at that time and to the ex-
clusion of all motions, except a motion to table, or to
reconsider and one quorum call on demand to estab-
lish the presence of a quorum (and motions required
to establish a quorum) immediately before the final
vote begins.

This piece of "camel dung" conceived by Obama and Harry Reid was deemed passed and unread by most if not all who voted to approve it.

Y'all please don't turn this into a thread of posting and dissecting that 2000 page mess.

No, the Advisory Board has no power to do anything. they simply make the recommendations. I do however think it's a forgone conclusion that if they make the recommendations, Congress will approve it if the liberals are in the majority.

What's the purpose of having an ADVISORY Board if you're not going to take it's advice?

Some of us are not trying to dissect the bill...rather we are asking the folks making the grandiose statements about death panels to prove it by using the actual piece of legislation that is now law.

I have yet to see any of you all show us where these heinous death panels are, but I'll wait with anticipation for that most glorious moment.

You know I expect posts like this from FAL. I am rather surprised at your taunting.

The democrats are stupid but not sufficiently stupid to call a board that controls cost a "death panel".

They claimed it did not fund abortions to get the vote of some pro life dems in the House. Turned out they were lying!

Anyone really think the Senate can do anything in 30 hours. Then what happens. The recommendations are deemed passed like the bill was???

I can't understand why FAL and PJ are so intent on defending this piece of Marxist garbage! I am not going to waste multiple hours trying to convince these two that the Board whose job it is to reduce the cost/person of medical care is not in effect a "death panel". The same people who passed this bill are the same people who fought against ever piece of pro life legislation in Congress and FAL and PJ want us to believe they give a rip about old people. Harry Reid, the real architect of the bill, has slopped at the taxpayers trough long enough that he won't be on Medicare so what does he care. And Obama is a dedicated baby killer!
