If you want to take God out of the mix, take the US government out of the mix also.

you do when the Govt is "hell bent" on redefining marriage as between 2 lovong prtners, straight or gay/lesbian, and many churches whole heartily supporting that movement!

incorrect. their attempts to redefine marriage are futile unless we give them that power. They cannot take that away from us through votes.
The Bible states what marriage is, and we are to follow that first and foremost. Anything outside that, is a lie.

the law does not get to redefine marriage, when God has already defined it.
marriage should be as God has already defined it as being, but it is also what the culture/society defines it as being!
Muslims can have up to 4 wives, so that would be legal in islamic nations!
think that while the l can and has defined what marriage is seen as being, that gay marriages are NOT seen in sight of God though as being "legit!"
Nor in the sight of nature. There is no excuse, just as there is no excuse for the sin of murder, or theft. And there is no excuse for those who attempt to mitigate the offenses of Sodom. Homosexuality is the ultimate rebellion against nature and nature's God, and is not a matter of freedom of religion. It is something that a right civil government has and should put down.

Thinks its similiar to when we in the body have accepted as being the truth things such as theistic evolution, jesus just a way to God, Bible not really inspired, and gay marriage all right, as those ALL happen when we start taking the cultural views over biblical one!
God wants us to have a biblical mindset, and influence our culture from that world view, but alas, many have done the other way, as the world view held by the lost creeps into our view instead!

AMEN! Cause everybody who holds to what Scripture actually says will testify that the offenses of Sodom were great, but no specific sin was mentioned in Scripture.
Opinion that does nothing more than drive a wedge between the folks who need Jesus and the folks who are supposed to be introducing them to Him.
