Allowing people to suffer and die now, in order to protect them from some silly possibility of danger far in the future, is the height of evil and insanity.

Funny how the liberals want to "protect the poor," until it comes down to choosing between a poor person and a tree...

Liberals have killed about 800,000 people a year since DDT was banned. Of course, those dead folk are black Africans, and we see how blacks were treated in the democrat states of the south, so it's not surprising they put birds ahead of them.

Havensdad is 100% correct. Weepy secularists only seem to be able to memorize 3 or 4 verses, and can never put it in context. Those who lean to their own understanding will never fully grasp the gospel.

Is it even possible for you to tell the truth, or are you pathologically opposed to the truth?

DDT was banned in the United States in 1972 when Richard Nixon was president.

Actually I was literally raised in a barn.

Allowing people to suffer and die now, in order to protect them from some silly possibility of danger far in the future, is the height of evil and insanity.

That is sad to hear as it is obvious you learned nothing about the relationship between man and earth and the environment.

Have you visited China? India?
Have you visited any countries where the earth has been destroyed and seen what a wonderful life it is for people living there now?

I am sorry to say you have a huge blind spot when it comes to stewardship.

If you took care of your farm animals no better than you believe we should take care of the earth, then I truly am sorry for the animals who has to suffer under your misguided care.

And who will blame when all the bees are done and no food can be produced? Do you know that bees are important and not just for honey?

Funny how the liberals want to "protect the poor," until it comes down to choosing between a poor person and a tree...

There is nothing liberal about wanting good stewardship of the earth. There is something tragic in those who do not care for the earth enough to be good stewards.

If we do not take care of the earth there will be no taking care of the poor. I find it tragic how some who call themselves conservative hate people so much they are willing to destroy the invironment for their own comfort.

Also, when you see liberal policies fail & do damage, like destroying the Chesapeake Bay with run-off from farms only used to produce corn ethonol, (not to mention the folks rioting & starving to death in some less agricultuarally blessed nations because they can't afford corn), they double down on it. They are not interested in results. They only care about power. Dead people mean only statistics to them.

Disgusting.

He never said we are take care of the trees and the bees. We are to take care of the people. When did God put us back in the Garden?

YOU are the blind one. You place value on things that are temporal, rather than placing the value on the eternal. Read the scriptures, instead of inserting your silly liberal dogma into the margins.

Most environmental concerns affect public health. Part of protecting public health involves ensuring we have safe air, water, etc. Environmental concerns are one area where the far-right offers no solutions.

Your comment would be funny if it were not so tragic. It was conservative farmers and agribusiness that kept the Bay from being cleaned up. It is Republicans and their love of big business who fight tooth and nail against any regulations trying to bring the health of the Bay back. I live by the Bay. Lawn services pollute the Bay greatly but conservatives are against any regulations on these companies servicing land near the Bay. I have seen conservatives fight against any effort to save and clean up the Bay since I moved here 42 years ago. I live within a stones throw of the Bay. Please to not spread such misinformation as you wrote above.

Conservative Virginia refuses to co-operate with Maryland and Pennsylvania on saving the Bay.

The earth be damned if that means even one more statute abridging the liberty of American citizens.

And I don't use the word lightly or profanely. I mean it sincerely in the manner in which it appears in Scripture.

Damn the earth= Damn many people in industrial areas to die of respiratory diseases because of air pollution.

Damn the earth= Damn people to starvation when the crops won't grow.

Damn the earth= Damn people to unclean drinking water and unsafe food.

Right, if it wasn't for "liberals" there would be no ethanol made from corn.

I am assuming "connies" means conservatives? I am about as conservative (poltically) as one can get, yet I have a concern for the environment. Fossil fuels are the main source for the forseeable future, but I do hope we can find ways to either mitigate any potential effects and/or transition to cleaner and perhaps more abundant energy sources. Even more than "environmental concerns", I would like to see us (USA) free of the need for dependence on outside energy supplies and enriching nations who have little to no regard for us.

Sorry, ignore-list bound libbies, but I have an earth to subdue. Time to put some fear & dread in the plants & animals.

I wish you luck in making earth a better place to go to Hell from.

These international thinkers and talkers aren't going to be satisfied until we're all paying a carbon tax. A global carbon tax. To an unelected unaccountable global elite who think it's their birthright to rule over us and use our money to enslave us all.

If Thomas Jefferson were here today he'd be busy writting our declaration of independence from the "international community". And no doubt the corporate mainstream media would be making him out to be some kind of radical extremist.

Curtis would simply put Jefferson on the ignore list.

We cannot take care of people once our environment is destroyed. Elementary my dear Watson, elementary. Taking care of the earthand people is being a good steward.

I'm no tree-hugger by any stretch, but I agree wholeheartedly with this.

Jefferson would be too busy cutting up Bibles, taking out references to the divinity of Christ, the virgin birth, the miracles and the resurrection. After all, there are numerous translations nowadays, not just the KJV that he could butcher to fit his un-Christian belief system.
