They were not on the road way! :BangHead:

Yes - because they knew it would be illegal. However, the OWS blocked a bridge in NY. Should they still have the right to assemble there?

My point is that we cannot assemble where we wish.

So these people should be attacked by the police because of what others did?

They apparently were there illegally, were told to leave nicely, knew the police would have to physically remove them, they were told that they would be pepper sprayed, they said that was OK and it happened.

It's not freedom unless everybody has it.

Does O.J. Simpson have it? ...

Yes. He has all the freedoms and rights guaranteed by the US constitution...

Does he have it? I'm asking in the same present tense in which you made your claim.

Yes. In spite of his conviction and incarceration he still has civil rights. What part of that don't you understand?

The part that he can't just sign out of prison for the day to go protest-- a right you claimed he does have.

Ann as usual you make statements and do not back them up. Show that they were breaking the law. Also Like I told Don some time ago ex-military are not usually fitted for police business as they tend to be brutal and harm the citizens and this is what happened.

What amazes me is the number of people on this board that are willing to throw away their civil rights to protect some criminals in uniform. Not only that just like I said in the past when this stuff starts it will be ex-military who will lead in the violence and abuse of civil liberties and we are seeing that. At some point we will see the military itself shooting down innocent citizens as this will escalate as our nation is turning to a socialist nation just like many in this discussion. We have already had the military put in place the end to our civil rights at the airports when they took over the airports with firearms and dogs. While they may not be there now they have already set the stage for larger take overs and it it will happen as people help push for the socialism that is coming like we see here.

I don't have all the answers but wasting time and money protesting is not it.

It doesn't do any good to protest. 80% of the people don't care, and the other 20% think you're getting exactly what you deserve!

Yea right. Have you ever read how we became a nation? Or how civil rights won its cause? Or how women got the vote? I can remember when women were not allowed to borrow money or have credit.

What in the world would posses you to tell such a bald faced lie like that! I never said he had the "right to just sign our of prison." Shame on you. Lying is a terrible sin. When you lie you lose all credibility with the forum members who read your postings. :(

There are several on here that have a big problem with telling the truth. I have been lied about several times as they twist what I say. :tear:
