Dr. Bob,

Have you read the paper that I wrote on Warren's teaching on "exponential growth"? The link is here:

You'll find that I have done my homework and am critiquing Warren on his misuse of scripture and doctrinal leanings toward Word of Faith theology. The evidence is there.

Is the issue here my alleged "hatred" or is it your familial bias? I wonder if you would feel differently about the Warren model of church growth if your son didn't work there.

bjonson, truly, the only one who seems to be showing bias, an unjust, UNFOUNDED bias at that, is you. Also, in response to your "not having any conviction in any of this", you yourself have proven yourself to be a liar by your posts. It's an HONEST observation. You again admit you "can't confirm this", so again, you've stepped in the manure pile and can't even see it or smell it.

Again you call me a liar but you don't show me where. I made the comment that I suspect Warren would be in full support of the devotional on the PDL website and am honest enough to identify it as just my "unconfirmed" opinion and you call me a liar?

I am disappointed in the lack of maturity on this particular thread. It is a head-scratcher.

You are absolutely right!!! Saddleback requires more of its members than what is required of most deacons in Baptist churches. I think if most people saw what was required of the members there most would come back humbled.
