Where in that passage does it mention heaven??? Resurrection implies earth... which was used in Job! Again, stop letting Plato affect your theology.
Your theology has a few holes you expect me to fill in or you resort to insults. Simple answer, Yes....babies go to be with The Lord.

I didn't resort to insults bringing up Plato. I'm serious about that and have made that observation for a long time. But now I"m about to resort to insults...

Nice job of avoiding anything I said to you. I challenged your interpretation of Job, you saw that you were wrong, and you ignore it. Good job, slick.

I would rather have holes in my theology than to use Plato to fill them in.

And trust me, I don't want or expect you to fill in any gaps that I might have.

You're dismissed.

This subject of whether babies that die go to hell comes up quite often, I thought it might be interesting to take a poll.

The choices will be;

#1 All babies that die go to hell

#2 All babies that die go to heaven

#3 Elect babies go to heaven, non-elect babies go to hell

#4 Other, please explain

All babies who have died under the age of accountibility were saved by the choice of God to provide grace to cover their sins by death of Jesus on their behalf...

Icon,

I think you do a great job even though I may disagree with you on occasion. Don't let some of these people on this Board give you a hard time for your beliefs and your posts. As far as the Confessions are concerned we all owe a great debt of gratitude to these old Saints. Their knowledge of Scripture and their stand for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints, sometimes in the midst of persecution, is to me an indication of the Grace of God in their lives and their work.
[/QUOTE]Hello Brother. Your posts are refreshing and it is quite okay to disagree with what I post. I am still learning as we move forward and if at anytime you feel I post anything in error...I would ask that you freely offer biblical correction:thumbsup:

All truth belongs to God...it is not mine or yours....so there will be many times you see what I do not see and once in awhile I might post something that helps you:wavey:

Because I know you are very solid in the word I look to read what you offer every time. I know others just try and be critical and it is a distraction...but you are on point...even so much that your posts are now being censored evidently

Sounds great, now can you provide the scripture that says this?

I'm betting the answer is NO.

Would you consider dying and going relative to the OT, Platonic?
Would you consider dying and going relative to the NT, Platonic?

Weighed against these thoughts of Paul.

But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. Acts 23:6
That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. Acts 26:23
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 2 Tim 1:10
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Cor 15:1-4

Just what is brought to light?

Your thoughts please.

per OP do babies go

I certainly hope they do. We buried our first baby. A cute little girl. She would be 9 right now if she had survived. But I know that God will do what is right.

I can't do anything for her. Can't teach her. Can't give her a Bible. But, I can do all these things for our 7 year old boy. I was happy when he told me that he believes that Christ is the Son of God, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the grave. See, I can work with him. Can't worry about our daughter as she is beyond my reach.

Sorry for the rambling, folks.

10 See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

matthew 18:10 asv

Guess jesus klnows more than either one of us, eh?

A wonderful post. Consider.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Heb 9:27

I want the same one judging me that will also judge your baby who died.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

David expected to meet his dead son, so you should expect to meet your little girl!

Ok build your straw man because you do have an obvious grasp for simplicity.

I have been quoting this verse for years to prove that babies are not sinners.

This verse does not support what you said however, you said;

Yeshua1 said:

Matthew 18:10 doesn't say a word about babies dying under the age of accountability, nor does it say God chose to provide grace to cover their sins. It does not say babies have sinned at all.

So, you need to provide scripture that says children under the age of accountability receive special grace to cover their sins.

In fact, you need to provide scripture that says babies are sinners. Can you do that?

Roman Catholics would say that if a baby dies prior to baptism, they would go to LIMBO. LOL, figure that one out.

No... David said he would go to his son... probably referring to the grave. That seems most likely since the next phrase says that his son would not return to him. David was speaking in the mortal world.

Boy the doctrines people come up with to justify other doctrines.
