It shows the level of character in the President's team. How are any of these people going to be able to tell the President about hard realities that he has to face when making incredibly important, real world decisions?

Its an extremely dangerous situation.

Trying out for today's drama queen?
Do you have anything to offer other than snarky comments?

Surely even Trump's greatest defenders surely realize that he is his own worst enemy with his tweets and undermining official statements his own staff has made on his behalf, right?

Prince Reibus: "We thank you for the opportunity and THE BLESSING that you've given us to serve your agenda and the American people."

A blessing? That's a bit over the top, isn't it?

What other kind of response can there be to someone so far gone they think even praising the president is "dangerous" to the country. Get a grip,

Talk about over the top drama,

The worship the left did of Obama was bad, and the worship Trump Supporters of Trump is just as bad. Just imagine the field day Trump supporters would have had if Obama started his cabinet meetings with pride and accolades like that. The hypocrisy of both tribes is why I'm done with with the duopoly.

When you hear him say it on the video at the link, it sounds like a prayer. Creepy.

I realize that biblical wisdom is foreign to the cult of Trump, but the scriptures speak of the value of hard words from true friends versus the deceitful nature of flattery:

Proverbs 27:6:
Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

We all see what happens when people suddenly get famous and surround themselves with hangers on, who never say no to self-destructive activities. The White House staff is leaking like a sieve, and that can only mean that they are being deceitful in their praise. People who don't are fired (i.e., Comey).

That's dangerous.

Trump has always been famous. And Comey deserved to be fired. Trump should have fired him immediately. He didn't because he listened to the advice of some people around him.

So, no. It's not dangerous. You just don't want Trump praised by people that work for him. It says things about him you'd rather not acknowledge.

And then, just to point out the obvious, every president appoints people to his cabinet that agree with his policies and work to establish them. And, while they may not be very vocal with praise for their boss, they certainly aren't publicly critical, or they don't last long. That's just reality.

You're making a big deal out of nothing, all because of your personal animosity for Trump.

Get over it.

Trump has always been famous.
"Always" is the wrong term, but he came to notoriety in the 1970s in New York City. He surrounded himself with "yes" men and fire those who didn't fall in line and has suffered a number of huge failures and bankruptcies. His personal life has been a mess, and his ego out of control. Now he is in a position to do the same for our entire nation.

And Comey deserved to be fired. Trump should have fired him immediately. He didn't because he listened to the advice of some people around him.
All of this is coming out and we will see how true these three sentences are.

So, no. It's not dangerous. You just don't want Trump praised by people that work for him. It says things about him you'd rather not acknowledge.
When he has everyone around the table say something positive about him it tells me he's a raging narcissist - I would rather not have to acknowledge that. When he starts the meeting saying things about himself that are blindingly false, it tells me he is self-deluded - I would rather not have to acknowledge that. When everyone around the table with him affirms his delusion, it tells me that it is a dangerous situation - I would rather not have to acknowledge that.

But adults - especially disciples of Jesus - have to face the truth. This is a dangerous situation.

And then, just to point out the obvious, every president appoints people to his cabinet that agree with his policies and work to establish them. And, while they may not be very vocal with praise for their boss, they certainly aren't publicly critical, or they don't last long. That's just reality.
Sure. But not being publicly critical is not the same thing as enabling delusion.

You're making a big deal out of nothing, all because of your personal animosity for Trump.
I don't have any "personal animosity" for Trump. I am a concerned citizen of the United States. You are inventing motives for me to support your argument.

Get over it.
Wake up.

Fortunately, Trump is too self-destructive to keep from getting himself out of office, one way or another. Then we can have Vice President Pence come forward to serve. I hope he has kept himself out of the scandals.

Then say goodbye to our Republic - what's left of it.

Assassination requests and attempts of the president and officials are taken as news-of-day.

It has gone beyond comedic license "What do we want? dead cops" was followed by police officers being assassinated.

Assassination suggestions of the president was followed by attempts to murder congressmen.

Followed by the infamous "Republican Hunter" tweet along with death threats to Trump supporters.

Unless we stand in solidarity against the marxist press and their devotees the "Meet the New Boss Same as the Old Boss" will win komrades.

Clinging to the duopoly is what is destroying the republic. Both sides are too busy fighting against each other to care about the good of the people. Both sides are too busy playing to anger of their respective bases to actually do any good. We need new parties if the republic is going to be saved.

Biblical wisdom? How about this biblical wisdom:

1 Peter 2:17 Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

The Trump haters (or Anybody but Trump wack jobs) might try acting as Christians, especially in view of the fact we are on a Christian forum.

Agreed that president Trump has less than a snow white past. But so it is true of us all.
Support him, pray for him, pray for our nation that we don't lose our Republic.

Pray for Neil Gorsuch, his safety, his family.

I'm supporting him the same way i supported Obama. Praying for him, but calling out any and all actions that are contrary to the Constitution. That also means rolling my eyes at the cult of personality both men have attracted. I have always rejected the idea that praying and submitting to our leaders is equal to unquestioning praise and support of of their actions.

Also submitting to the government also in no way locks me into voting for the duopoly which I am done with. As far as the Republic is concerned until we break the duopoly it is in grave danger.
