I'm supporting him the same way i supported Obama. Praying for him, but calling out any and all actions that are contrary to the Constitution. That also means rolling my eyes at the cult of personality both men have attracted. I have always rejected the idea that praying and submitting to our leaders is equal to unquestioning praise and support of of their actions.

Also submitting to the government also in no way locks me into voting for the duopoly which I am done with. As far as the Republic is concerned until we break the duopoly it is in grave danger.

What then "monopoly"? That's what the American Revolution was all about - getting away from the tyranny of the aristocratic/regal Monopoly.

A monopoly will always trend to tyranny.

Polypoly OK if it can be sustained.

Never have I supported a monopoly. That was one of the reason I didn't vote for Trump. Embracing modern liberalism is not how one defeats modern liberalism. I have always supported going back to the Constitution. To really do so we need at least 2 new parties. One constitutional conservative and one classically liberal (emphasis on the classical). I think we all agree that the GOP is nothing but democrat lite at this point and democrat are just crazy at this point, so any solution that involves continuing to give either one of them more power is no solution at all and continues our path to destruction.

Trump is neither a Democrat or a Republican.

Trump is Trump.

"Tyrant"? Trump doesn't have or use any more power than Obama did.

Obama surrounded himself with loyalists :

"As his second term begins, President Barack Obama is in his comfort zone, surrounded by loyal lieutenants.

"What a contrast to the captivating candidate of 2008, who told Time Magazine’s Joe Klein that as president he would be surrounded “by people who are continually pushing me out of my comfort zones"

Footage of a Stalinist-style Cult of Personality developing around the leader of the most powerful country on earth - what could there possibly be to worry about?

When he starts sending political enemies to the gulags you can describe him as Stalinist.

In the meantime maybe you should cut back on the caffeine.

If I called your statement an exaggeration it would be an understatement.

Says the guy who just said democrats are returning to their KKK roots. Your continued lack of self reflection and obliviousness to your own easily identifiable hypocrisy is a constant source or entertainment for a man who calls himself a pastor. There isn't a man on this board that works harder to divide us all than you.

Don't worry, Matt. Trump is mostly a businessman and a showman, not to mention casino owner. His worse enemies are the card-carrying Democrats who have no sense of shame and no shred of civility. Look at how the Democrats degraded Shakespeare in Central Park New York and called it a masterpiece. The left does not do art.

Ask his employees how he treats them and what he does with unwelcome news. Oh, that's right anyone who does not buddy up to him is fired.

Your second paragraph makes no sense. Sorry.

Remember the Cult of Mao and the disasters that led to in China?

Seems there was a Cult of Stalin also.

Or perhaps you should wake up and smell it. By the time wannabe-dictators start sending their opponents to the camps, it's generally too late.

This inflammatory and over exaggerated talk is why there is so much hostility. It's unnecessary, it's over the top, and it's delusional.
