The only thing that will save the Kavenaugh nomination will be if the two men whom it has been reported have said they were the one's who actually did the attack come forward and testify to that fact. Barring that, the Republican RINOS Susan Collins, Lisa Murakowski, Jeff Flake and maybe a few others will vote no and that will be that.

Man, I hope you're right. Show me the Pit Bull.

According to some talking head I saw last night on TV, the woman is a paper filing prosecutor, not an experienced cross examiner from the trenches. The republicans may have chosen the wrong person to be doing the questioning.

I'm not sure why you are aching to see a woman humiliated, so I won't speculate. But Jesus had some things to say about how we treat people, including people we consider to be our enemies.

We need to also keep in mind that people who have been sexually abused are reading our comments, and they need to see that Christians are always open to listening to people tell their experiences, even if it might be something that we wish were not so.

I can't speak for SovereignGrace but it's not humiliation that I seek, I seek the truth coming out. Dr. Ford has delayed giving testimony, her story has changed, there are inconsistencies, there are no corroborating witnesses, and on and on.

I don't believe the Republicans are that stupid.

Hmm it won't open for me.

Woman walks up to Ford's lawyer as a break in the testimony is starting and surreptitiously slips him an envelope, which he quickly puts in the breast pocket of his suit jacket.

Dershowitz made this point. He believes they fumbled on this. She has no experience as a defense attorney, only a prosecutor. And yes, ITL, they just might be that stupid.

Lindsay Graham said one of the men was "...crazy as a loon" and he doesn't believe the other one. He said, "I'm not going to play this game."

There will always be people who are mentally-ill and want attention by falsely confessing to things. That's why there is a need for real investigations.

Please note that she was not allowed to introduce corroborating witnesses, so you can't hold that against her.

Lindsey Graham also wants to confirm Kavanaugh and essentially believes he's innocent of these charges, meaning he believes these witnesses are not credible. So pick your poison.

And how much time has he had look over the testimony of these two men?

They wanted to hide behind a woman's skirt because they do not have the courage to ask questions themselves.

Please note that the so-called corrroborating witnesses have all said in statements that either they weren't at the party, they don't know about the party, or that Brett Kavanaugh wasn't at that party. The one witness that she had, someone named Leland, didn't want to come forward because she was "focusing on her health issues."

There are few of them in the Senate that have backbone, so if the perceived view is that she is a credible witness, the good judge will be toast.

Yes, but you're fine with a man being humiliated. This is the toxic femininity taking over our nation.

Painful to watch this hearing.
The Judge is in a no win deal here, cannot prove a negative, and the media/dems/some republicans are just taking her testimony as if mother Mary was there!

I noticed that no Democrat asked a question about facts or tried to advance an investigation. Instead they lavished praise on her, said she was credible, said she was courageous (she was), and basically appealed to emotions and grandstanded.

On the other side, I didn't see any rhyme or reason to prosecutor Mitchell's questions. There was no overarching strategy that I saw. She did bring out some more inconsistencies (the number of questions in the polygraph test, who paid for the polygraph test, her "fear" of flying unless it involves work and/or vacationing, not remembering if you gave WaPo your therapists notes, etc.)
