I still wonder why we allow Roman Catholics, Charasmatics, and Sda here to spew forth their heresies!
You don't want me around Yeshua? I thought we were friends. :C

So you can see how people evolve. What good does it do to berate people who’s practices are different from your own... with people I show patience, mercy, even forgiveness. I am so in love with my own understanding of God that I have enough, in fact, more than enough to share, so why should I not share with others. And if helps others, so much the better.
Thank you kindlyEvolve -- yes. Some evolve more than others. My views are much the same as when I started on this forum, but in the last couple of years I have had one significant change that I never thought would happen. I can't discuss that here, but I learned an important lesson.
I believe you and I differ greatly in our theology, and yet I consider you a friend and one of the most sensible and godly people here.
My main concern would be that neither the RCC nor the SDA themselves are really NT Churches, as both hold to a non blibical Gospel!I have no problem with non-Baptists posting in this forum, although it does concern me that some theologically immature Christians may be harmed by things such as Roman Catholic and S.D.A. doctrine. That is why there need to be BB members active in this forum to counter false teaching.
We are not to tolerate false doctrines and dogmas though, as Jude sattes that we are to fight for the Faith once and for all delivered to us, and Paul states that any other gospel than the real one is damnable heresy! So you can see how people evolve. My views agree with Jesus and the Apostles, does yours? To counter your heretical views.
I love to have you around here, just not posting false catholic theology! You don't want me around Yeshua? I thought we were friends. :C
To Catholic teaching though, would appears that Jesus death gives us a clean slate of past/present sins, but all future sins have to be dealt with thru Sacraments of Grace!I’m more of a Christ Victor guy anyway I hold to Doctrines of Grace and OSAS. From my thinking process, Christ’s death was what saved me from the sins of the past, present and future... though I will sin, He was and is my savior. And once that has happened, together with the regeneration of the HS, I have been made whole.... I am a new creature with a developed heart and soul and conscience. That does not make me perfect, but I have been transformed into a Kingdom person, one that lives for Him, with Him and in Him.

You don't think the clue might be in the name?Yeah, right. Then why am I not allowed to post in the Baptist section?

My understanding of the Gospel agrees with Paul, the RCC view does not!And you are with your interpretation of the God's Holy Word? Haaaaaaaaa! That's the funniest thing I'm going to hear all day.
Did paul confront the heretics? Did peter, did James? Think they would be far less tolerant than I have been!So how do you propose to fight these other faiths, like you do now by insulting & alienating them, telling them that they are patently false and forcing them to defend their long held beliefs?!? BRILLIANT, nobody wins that war however the opponent showed you, he did not budge one inch & is more entrenched then ever.
1st you are not them so why are you attempting to pattern yourself after them. 2nd have you ever given any consideration to being wrong minded, legalistic & operating very much like the Pharisees of old. Now how did Christ deal with Pharisees? Did he eat with them, invite them into His sermons, try to reach them? I know he did & he got some results too. In short, He was relational.Did paul confront the heretics? Did peter, did James? Think they would be far less tolerant than I have been!
He pretty much blasted at the Pharisees, save for a few who believed in him, as the rest were dead in their sins, and wanted to kill him off!1st you are not them so why are you attempting to pattern yourself after them. 2nd have you ever given any consideration to being wrong minded, legalistic & operating very much like the Pharisees of old. Thats because most Baptist & Protestants today dont like the RCC.
