How can you be in him before you are born unless God places you there?
You cannot be "in Him" before you are born (John 3:5-6). The question appears nonsensical.

“The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.” (John 3:36)You cannot be "in Him" before you are born (John 3:5-6). The question appears nonsensical.
“The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.” (John 3:36)
Notice the present tense = (has eternal life). = without beginning or end but co eternal in God.
Belief is evidence of eternal life. You must be alive spiritually before you can believe.Notice the qualifying statement prior to that ......"The one who believes"
Belief is evidence of eternal life. You must be alive spiritually before you can believe.
No. the present tense HAS precedes belief. Faith is the evidence.According to the scripture you quoted, belief comes before eternal life.
No. the present tense HAS precedes belief. Faith is the evidence.
Your interpretation doesn't add up. You want it to read whoever believes will have eternal life. But the present tense of HAS shows the reality of which belief is the evidence. Faith (faithfulness) is evidence according to Hebrews 11 1."The one who believes in the Son has eternal life."
In order to have eternal life there is a qualifier in that statement which is "the one who believes."
Wrong.Belief is evidence of eternal life. You must be alive spiritually before you can believe.
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Peter 1:23)Wrong.
but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
John 20:31 NKJV

The word speaks the new birth into existence just as Jesus spoke the universe into existence.Of course except you guys do not believe that the gospel is enough. You believe man also needs another method of grace (regenerate man first) in order for man to be saved. The gospel, to you, is not enough nor is it the power to salvation. Regeneration first is the power to salvation for you all contrary to scripture.
Whoever jumps rope is physically fit. Which comes first?Has is the present tense because belief has already happened.
Non sequitur.“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (1 Peter 1:23)
The word speaks the new birth into existence just as Jesus spoke the universe into existence.
