Could I ask why, because I quoted you scripture, or is it because I will not admit to sins I have not committed, what is it?
In the long run, one sin is as bad as the next in God's eyes. Jesus' Blood will wash them all away. Charles, if you say you have no sin, the Bible says your are a liar for thinking it.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

ANY sin will keep you out of God's presense without the Blood of Jesus. When you stand there in front of Him, your "righteousness" will be as dung. You better be prepared to plead the Blood and not what you do here on Earth.

Oh yea, if he raped your wife 7 times seventy, would you forgive him.

Anyway, you can't forgive sin, only God can do that.

If He trepass, is different than if he sins against God and his own body.
Then why are you trying to be the judge and declare what is acceptable and what is not?
I said:
We do not have the authority or the right to judge their souls!!!
Apparently, you have that right.

I see how you come to your conclusions.
Brother Charles,

Quote:
I do not lie, for all liars will find their place in the lake of fire. You have to know what a lie is though, It is a deliberate attempt to decieve someone, not to tell something you think to be the truth.

This is your definition of a lie. The Bible's definition is different. It states that it is: Falsehood, untrue, a falsifier. It mentions nothing about intent.

The truth is, no one (That I know of) sets out to make hell their home. When Paul crucified Christians, He thought He was doing the will of God. When you or I speak untruth, we lie. No matter what our intent is. If it is a falsehood, if it is not true, the Bible calls it a lie.
Adding to the word and taking away from the word is a sin also. If I change the meanings of everything to my logic, I am justifying my actions by my own self. This is not the way it works.

So, you believe Christians are adulterers, liars, pedophilers, rapist, murders, Idol worshippers, Devil worshippers,
What can I say?

Well, for starters, you could quit putting words in my mouth and mis-representing what I said. Did you even bother to read my post? Good grief. I take you at your word that you didn't lie...but deliberately mis-stating me might make me reconsider.

Funny...when I read the Scriptures, I read of a God who transformed some pretty messed-up people. I guess you feel it necessary to put limits on what God can do. Sad.

I believe in a God who's Grace keeps us in this life and delivers us in the world to come, soul, spirit and body blameless.

Funny...I believe in a God who forgives sins. Don't you? Sounds like to me that you think there are some sins too big for God to handle. And (although you'll likely ignore this) I always state that within the context of Romans 6:1-2)

Furthermore, I believe that salvation is by grace alone. I don'tadd works to the equation, and neither should you.

I think to teach people that Christians can commits such sins is the fulfillment of men standing in Holy places where they ought not be.

Hmmm....sometime you're hard to follow, but it seems that you've decided I shouldn't be in Christian leadership. Did I misread you? Perhaps you would like to explain that more fully...because if this is indeed what you are saying, this is an extremely loaded accusation for you to make of a Christian brother. And if it is not what you mean, please clarify.

How can one debate such a perfect sounding person? I recall Paul warning us that the moment we think that we have arrived is the time where we are most vulnerable. You exihibt a pride in your supposed superior position of not sinning. Which in an of itself is a sin. A Christian can, and is in danger of, committing any sin. This includes you, Charles. You better be careful that you don't eat your words. Only by walking in the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit, working out our salvation in fear and trembling, and humbly realizing that apart from the work of Christ (not our own) we are in danger of falling. My works did not earn my salvation. My works do not keep me saved now. And, never will they do so in the future. Only by the grace of God was I saved, am I saved, and will I be saved.

Man...what is it with this subject and you guys dwelling on sexual sins...

There's no need to be graphic.

Anyhow...you're wrong. Again.

God says,

Ephesians 4:32 said:
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

Would you please provide scripture of what a lie is instead of the dictionary? Talk about adding to.

I look up the word Lie and Liar in the greek concordance. This tells me what the word lie meant in that day.

Now, please provide me how you got your definition?

I you are looking for Jesus to die again for your sins, you are in trouble.
Quit putting words in my mouth, I have stated over and over I sin, just not the kind of sins that send someone to hell

Never heard about unbelief concerning the rich man who is in hell today
According to this parable, tell me what Lazarus did to go to heaven?
Bible doesn't specify. It does say that his brothers had Moses and the prophets to hear.

1) a lie
2) conscious and intentional falsehood
3) in a broad sense, whatever is not what it seems to be
a) of perverse, impious, deceitful precepts

Then here's yet another chance to clarify. Please do so.

What kind of sins "send someone to hell?"

If you'll answer, I'll quit asking! (heck of a deal!)

Brother Charles,
This I can handle.
I have stated over and over I sin, just not the kind of sins that send someone to hell
Maybe I misunderstood. I appologize if I did. But this is not what I was getting from your posts. I was understanding that you were implying that you did not sin, that you were incapable of sin.

Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do GOOD, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. This kind of sin will send you to hell.

Brother,
Do you have any idea what you are saying? The people in those days were avoiding doing good deeds. He was telling them it was a sin to not do them. I.E. We know it is good to visit the sick, did you visit the sick today? Did you go to the nursing home everyday or the hospital to visit them?

Do you know not to kill, still, commit adultery, and all the other part of the commandments that are given.

Pride is a sin too.
You are now arguing to not lose instead of trying to learn or teach.

I provided you with my reference. You then said:
Would you please provide scripture of what a lie is instead of the dictionary? Talk about adding to.
Then you turn right around and give your definition of a lie:
1) a lie
2) conscious and intentional falsehood
3) in a broad sense, whatever is not what it seems to be
a) of perverse, impious, deceitful precepts
Which so happens to match the modern day dictionary of the word lie.

You accuse me of one thing and then you are guilty of the very same thing. Is that not bearing false witness? Is this not pride?

Maybe these are sins that you say is ok to commit, I do not know.
