I consider my life very blessed. I have spent the morning with my three babies that I watch. I have a four year old, a three year old, and a 7 month old. Well, they are not mine-but feel like they are. Have had the older two in my life for three years, and of course the littlest for 7 months (well, actually I knew about him when he was only concieved for 10 days-so we have a long term relationship
) I guess I babysit them, but we do more. I used to be a daycare teacher, and it drove me nuts to watch 14 two year olds tryng to get my attention. So, I moved it home. Now, I can work with the kids, play with the kids, and love the kids. It is the best of both worlds.
Today we built with tinker toys, and are working on learning to read. We make our own books, and have lots of fun with that. Our theme this week was dinosaurs-it has not been that much fun. Before that, we did snowmen. And I had kept up my Christmas tree. So we undecorated it-and redecorated it with all kinds of snowmen that the kids made. That was fun.
Tonight I will go next door and check on my mom. She is 76 years old, and in poor health. I call her during the day, and spend a couple hours in the evenings with her. Works pretty good for right now.
My husband will come home from work, tired and hungry. He works 60 hours a week Plus he pastors a church. So, he stays tired-but very happy. We moved up here to take care of my dad 6 years ago (until he passed away three years ago). So my hubbie had to leave the ministry behind. For five years he did not pastor. It was very hard on him. But for the past year, he has pastored a small church. And he is so very happy.
Well, that is pretty much my day
