The Baptism debate

There is no point in debating you simply because the Word of God is not your final authority. Every single time you are pressed about your obvious misinterpretations of a text your flee to self-glorifying defenses such as "Christ revealed this to me" or "I speak the truth" or "I only speak what God's Word says" all of which have nothing to do with the text you are being challenged with or the contradictions you make that are being placed in your face.

You are simply a joke when it comes to any serious debate.

You really just cannot stop yourself.

You just cannot stop yourself. Are you not embarrassed?

Never! you should be embarassed for dishonoring God's Word and the Lord Jesus Christ by your false gospel of works. We are justified by faith "WITHOUT WORKS" (Rom. 3:28; 4:5-6) and the "works" in view are PRE-Mosaic, PRE-Jewish and PRE-circumcision as well as PRE-conversional works by Abraham who is a GENTILE.

What is your description of justification?

Same as the Apostles pauls!

that sinners ONLY way to get right with God is to place faith in the person and work of Jesus upon the Cross, and God declares them saved and justifed!

We are justified by his blood without works! However, you must do something for Jesus to choose to live with you!

God chose Abraham because of the type of heart Abraham had. Abraham OBEYED God BEFORE circumcision! Noah still had to obey and build the ark. Moses still had to circumcise his son. We MUST obey God.

This is an obvious contradiction.
1. We are justified by his blood without works.
2. You must do (works) something for Jesus to choose to live with you.

You have contradicted yourself. Either we are justified by works or we are not. You can't have it both ways.

I have not contradicted myself. We have been justified through faith; we have gained access by faith into this grace. One act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.
What is our faith, in what? We have faith in the fact that Jesus died for sinners and reconciles us to God. If I have faith that Jesus died for sinners, then I must admit I am a sinner. If I have faith that Jesus died for my sins, then I must agree that sin is bad. If I agree that sin is bad, then I am not to cherish sin in my heart. If I am not cherishing sin in my heart, then I agree that I will live as Jesus.

The message that saves is one that explains all this. If I hear the message that saves, and I understand and agree, then I have faith and Jesus will save me. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, for all those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
If someone hears the message and says they believe, but they do not want to give up their sins, that they cherish their sins, then do you believe they will be saved?

The scriptures tell us to repent and believe.

Yes, He saves sinners. Abraham was a sinner saved by grace. The scriptures do not say that Abraham was saved because he had a good heart.

The Bible tells us who God saves and why. The Bible tells us who God does not save and why.

You said God saved Abraham because of the "type of heart" he had. Please provide the scripture to prove that.

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

If you can see, then you will be able to understand what kind of heart Abraham had, just by that one scripture.
Abraham had a believing and obeying heart.

Yes. He obeyed. That's what saved people do. Where does it say that God saved him BECAUSE of the "type of heart" he had?

Read what the Bible says about Noah. Now tell me, if Noah believed in God but did not obey, would he still be saved.

You assume that because Noah found favor with God that it was the reason God saved him. But scripture does not say that. Why did God save Noah's family? Where does scripture say anything about what they believed?

What did he believe? Can you find where Abraham was given the gospel?

What do you mean by saying “What did he believe?” Abraham believed in God and obeyed. Why ask where Abraham was given the gospel? The gospel is always about believing and obeying.
