Are you presenting this as an excuse for them? Mohammad didn't like Christians declaring Jesus as the Son of God, so he writes his own book, makes sure it goes against what God has already revealed through His chosen Apostles, calls it holy, millions follow his lies and you somehow think God is just A-OK with their faith.
Now why would a Christian desire to spin or twist God's very Word? Do you really believe John 3:18 is speaking about a person who does not believe God saves?
Now of course it says nothing of the sort, it's really not even a twist but a flat out rewrite. I'll post it again, I pray the Father forgives your misrepresentation of his word and you will hear from the Father as you read it....

You seriously do not understand Jesus is speaking of people? If you do not know who His enemies are then how do you know you are not one of them?
I'm pretty certain if you were born out there in the middle east you'd be swearing up and down the only God is ALLAH and Mohammad is his prophet.

The parable of the minas or talents goes to show God gives different measures of what is right to people. To whom much is given much more is expected.
47“And that slave who knew his master’s will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes, 48but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.
The Muslims might have couple coins, There is a God, He is a good guy.
They certainly don't have your full advantage.

^I think this is your case. I feel like you have no mercy. Those Muslims , Jews, Athiests those you choke to pay what they owe.
You don't appreciate the grace given, you hold it over other people's heads.

If grace can be had without belief in Christ, then his death was unnecesssary ... and so is his false Gospel.
John 4:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."
Why? You do know the middle east is where Christianity was born, right? There are millions of Christians in the middle east. Have you not heard how tens of thousands have been born Muslim and Jew and have come to reject those religions and began following Jesus Christ and His definition of love thy neighbor? There is no "deep" explaining needed. God made it so simple. ALL are lost, yes even those who believe they love everybody and would do anything for their neighbor. ALL of them are lost. Only one way to be saved, BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. No good works save, No loving saves, ONLY Faith alone in Jesus Christ. Only then will one's Love count for anything. It must start with loving the LORD Jesus Christ. Rejecting Him is condemnation. Mo understood this, he just hated it bc like ALL false religions, the founder wants to make works the central matter unto salvation. God shouts NO! Nice gesture, but if you don't understand Jesus is the only way and you do not tell me the same, then you are buckling us both in for a ride to hell. Jesus spoke well of those who rejected Him as the Son of God...."But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in."

There is no salvation without faith in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no second change after death, for God says "it is appointed unto every man once to die, but after this the judgment", all people who do not put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection, will die and go to hell, and eventually will end up in the lake of fire for eternity.
others have already shown from the scriptures that ALL are condemned by their sin, ALL have sinned and the wages of sin is death. God is infinitely holy, and sin is an affront to his holy character, Read Isaiah 6 and see the vision of the angels crying "HOLY HOLY HOLY", See God destroying Sodom and Ghomorrah with fire and brimstone, see God destroy the whole world with a flood, See in the book of Revelation all of the terrible judgments as God pours out his wrath upon the world for their sin. One of those sins we are told is that the inhabitants of the earth are worshipping idols. Do you know what an idol is? it is a false representation of God, the god of Islam is an idol, the gods of hinduism are idols, the god of Roman Catholicism is an idol, the worship and veneration and praying to Mary is idolatry, God hates idolatry and idolatry will take a person to hell. There is one true God that can save, See Acts 17 where Paul preached against idols and said that now "God commandeth all men everywhere to repent". God commands ALL MEN, everywhere to REPENT, to turn from trusting in their idols, to trusting in the true and living God and his Son Jesus Christ. Utilyan and Matt Janes, Repent of your idolatry you who have exalted your human understanding and reasoning above the word of the true and living God. Your only hope is to turn from trusting in your own feelings and emotions and to be believe what God's word says, YOU ARE SINNERS, YOUR SINS CONDEMNS YOU TO HELL, but JESUS died for your sins, was buried and rose again, and YOU MUST REPENT AND BELIEVE THIS GOSPEL. The word repent is a compound word Metanoeo
"Meta" meaning "change", and "Noeo" meaning "mind". So we can say that repentance is a change of mind. the question is: a change of mind about what?
The best way I can see it is I see Repentance is a change of mind in 3 areas.
1. About Sin
We must realize the severity of our sin in the eyes of a holy God, the fact that we are condemned by sin, and we must accept the guilt of our sin.Some people refuse to believe the Gospel and trust Christ because they love their sin, oftentimes a love for sin causes many to reject the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Revelation 9:20-21 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Revelation 16:9-11And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds
2 Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

2. About Self
We must realize that we have no righteousness of our own, we have no merit in ourselves to earn salvation, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags in God's eyes, no amount of works can make up for or cover our sins.

When people do religious rituals, good deeds, or other works to earn forgiveness of sin, that is called "DEAD WORKS"
3. About the Saviour
We must change our mind and repent about Christ, there must be an acceptance of him as the payment for our sins, an accepting that his name is the only name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, that he is the way the truth and the life and that no man can come unto the Father but by him. We turn to him and must place all of our faith and trust in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the Christ of the Gospel as the one who does all of the saving our our soul from sin.
This aspect of repentance implies a turning from the thing which one is trusting, whether it's an idol, money, possessions, false religion, etc
1 Timothy 6:16 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
1 Th 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
Acts 17:29-30 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
(Note this is a command to repent and believe in the true God as opposed to trusting in idols, the context is a repentance about idolatry one must turn from trusting in idols to trusting in Christ in order to be saved)

I can't say otherwise, as that's what Jesus called him.
At the very least that show's he wasn't much of a "pope," if the first thing he said got him "chewing out." LOL and it seems like being called Satan by the Son of God is a little more than a chewing out.
But if you really want to know my beliefs about it, it's this: Peter, the one who speaks first and thinks later, was especially vulnerable to Satan, who asked to "sift him like wheat. There's no question he was the main spokesman for the apostles-- speaking being an ability he could misuse. So Satan was 'there' with Peter, and as he made one of his 'speeches' without thought-- telling Jesus he would not die on the cross as he was telling them-- I think Jesus was addressing the 'real' Satan, who was such in influence of Peter's words and actions. "Heroic people have heroic flaws," as has been said. This was true of Peter and the rest of the 11 faithful until the Holy Spirit came upon them with special power. Even then old Peter still had to rebuked by Paul at Antioch.
The Pharisees would agree with you. They too believe in the damned Samaritan.
If we shoved folks of like mind like you in a building there would be no one left after a week.
Cause its the same bigot spirit that has been the problem to the entire human race. You would never tolerate each other.
Saintly folks from different religions have no problem getting along with each other. They have Saintly folks and they also all have bigots. If we can get all you like minded folks in together in one place it would be Armageddon.
