The unregenerate man "always resists the Holy Spirit" (Acts 7:51)
True, until "The unregenerated man" no longer does resist, but repents...

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:" (Acts 3:19-20)

repent.......and then he shall send Jesus Christ.

Wrong again. It says "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."

Those whom God draws, Christ rises up.

Nobody can come to my new restaurant, sitting a half mile off the highway behind a big hill, unless the big 10x52 billboard out by the interstate "draws" him.,......and I will feed him corn bread, peas, grits, and fried chicken. You can come if you want to, but you can't unless you're "drawn". Same difference bro.

There is no one who seeks God. Not even one.

They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes. When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him.
When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.
Mark 5:1‭-‬2,6 NIV

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
Matthew 2:1‭-‬2 NIV

A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.
Luke 19:2‭-‬4 NIV

Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him. Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader, came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house because his only daughter, a girl of about twelve, was dying. As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him.
Luke 8:40‭-‬42 NIV

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
Matthew 8:5‭-‬6 NIV

Act 11:15 As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them just as on us at the beginning.
Act 11:16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
Act 11:17 If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God's way?”

Reformed folks apply passages like John 6 and John 17 to all the elect. To do so is to rip it out of its context. Those who the Father gave Jesus at the time that He said this was the disciples only not all the elect.
Of course John 6 is about the elect --not every single person. To think otherwise is just making stuff up. Without the enablement of the Father nobody can come to the Son. (John 6:65)

John 17:9 :"I pray for them. I am not praying for the world., but for those you have given me, for they are yours."

John 17:20 :"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message."

Acts 11:17 does not say repentance is a gift from God. It says the Holy Ghost is a gift from God which harmonizes with this....

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13)

You are not God and your restaurant is not Christ's Sacrifice on the Cross. :)

Wow, do you actually imagine those verses are about seeking God unto salvation?
I can't take you seriously until you actually figure out the subject matter.

Oh, are you going to move the goalposts from "no one seeks God, not even one" to no one seeks God, not even one, for salvation?

I guess that's your prerogative but it's not the subject matter of Psalm 14:1-3 or Psalm 53:1-3 which Paul is quoting in Romans 3.

You flat out stated that no one seeks God. I give several examples, including a demon possessed man (!) and you slap them away as being inconsequential by changing the rules.

That was the point in the first place. That you are changing the point means it is you who has moved the goalpost.

Jesus does address the Apostles in jn17, but also all who believe their word....that is the elect once again:Cautious
The all given in jn 6 is all the elect, not just the Apostles. ..not just the Apostles are going to be raised on the last day...it is all the elect throughout time:Thumbsup:Wink

You lost me with the comment above.
Utilyan, you seem to imagine that you have something within you in which God is obligated to you and owes you a favor.
The Bible totally rejects your opinion.
I watch as you rush toward hell with your hands over your ears. I pray that God might mercifully stop you. I have no idea if He will and I know that He is not obligated to save you from your self.

Thank you Menno,

That is probably the nicest thing you ever said to me.

You do not comprehend free will. It has been explained to you more times than I can count. You are blind and deaf to God's call. No one can help you. May God have mercy on your soul.

Free Will, Your definition of it? Who knows.

But I comprehend having a say in my actions. Do I have a say in my actions or does God dictate it for me?
