Romans 3
"No one seeks God..."
Do you really apply a Quote from Paul even when he is quoting a fool in Psalms 14
Psa 14:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psa 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

No sir it wasn't Paul that said this it was a fool who also said there is no God. Read Psalms 14 for your self It where Augustine got your false doctrine from.
Paul before quoting this said;.
Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
The reason he quoted it is because this is what the sinner thinks with in his heart he says this because he doesn't want to admit the real truth and is why it is in his heart.

I quote scripture and I quote how God had Paul use it in Romans 3. Once again...you fight against what God says, not against me.
Why do you hate God's total authority over you?

The book of response is the Bible.
The Bible says we were dead in our trespasses and sins...but God (not man) made us alive with Christ...
Read it, MB. You will find it in Ephesians 2.
You are right about the Bible bing a book of response. Why not use it all by it's self. I will respond. I'd really like to see a Calvinist use nothing but scripture with no comments.

If Judas was a devil, how could he be a sheep?
Excuse me? Wasn't Judas chosen by God?. He was a Jew. was he not? If a Jew and Chosen by god and given to Christ? he was elect even you have claimed the elect are the sheep. This one is lost to perdition. Now how is that possible since he was elect and all Calvinist claim the elect will be saved

I'm sorry but it wasn't God that said it. Did God also say there is no God?

Start at Genesis 1:1 and keep reading to the end. Respond afterwards.
I will give you until 12/12/2020 to respond.

The ignorance of the Scriptures by posters here is really quick remarkable. Clearly that poster was completely unaware the Apostle was quoting David!

If St. Paul was not quoting David but instead meant that in absolute terms (as the poster implied), St. Paul would be contradicting his very own teaching. Just one chapter prior he says this to the Romans...

---> "To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life" - Romans 2:7

Contextomy on full display!

Yes, it was God who said it. It was Paul who recorded it, but it was God who said it. (2 Timothy 3:16)

It was David who said it. St. Paul quoted him.

God did not dictate the Bible, like a boss dictating a letter to his secretary. The Scriptures are inspired by God, not penned by Him. (2 Timothy 3:16)

(Divine dictation is but one of many similarities between the God of Calvinism and the God of Islam.)

Inspired means he wrote them through the hands of his Prophets and Apostles. In there original writing they were expressions of God to man. Since we can be certain that we have 99.9% accuracy through textual criticism we can be confident that God ordained the words that Paul penned.
It is interesting to watch you attempt to belittle God at nearly every corner. Why is that? Why do you hold such a low view of God and such a high view of your church?

Glad to help. Sometimes I wonder if you guys read the Scriptures...

"While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost EXCEPT the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled." - John 17:12
Not so fast, your holiness. John 6:39

That's what He said and you don't believe Him. You believe the man has to be elect first. A false doctrine.restricting God on who He can save.:Laugh

Not true. Is that all the scripture you know Funny God has never dragged anyone anywhere. Jonah resisted God. Then God caused a large fish to swallow him. We have to remember Jonah was already God's servant..He was an elect Jew the only elect of God.

Not true at all Pharaoh's heart was already hard and election had nothing to do with it. You must not read very well:Laugh

oooooh I'm so scared of the big bad Calvinist. Calvinism is only half truths which means it's completely nonsense and confusion.

Absolute nonsense:Laugh
I don't think he would acknowledge you as a Calvinist but rather pridefully agnostic.:Rolleyes

Paul is not quoting out of context. Just reminding them. He is not nor has authority to establish new doctrine, they would have to hold council like acts 15 if they wanted to teach something new.

"Why do you hate God's total authority over you?"

Just because a person does not believe the earth is flat mean they hate the earth.

Your idea of God being Calvinist is like believing the earth is flat........a joke.

We all love God here. We just don't believe he is evil like you describe him to be.
