Again, I did not say that nobody seeks God, I said none seek him in THEIR NATURAL STATE. Romans 3:10
No one could possibly come away from that passage and think " oh , of course God commands people to obey the Gospel , commands all people everywhere to repent, Goes to all the trouble demonstrating infallible proofs , signs miracles, 1500 years writing a book with over 40 different Authors demonstrating , sending prophets to proclaim his message , sends his Son to suffer and die on a cross, Marvels at unbelief , punishes people for not believing, condems them to hell for it . Oh but they can't unless God first regenerates them and causes believe in them . " God commands ALL men EVERYWHERE to repent " But they ALL cannot , " Grrrrrr!!! I'm demand they all repent anyway " , But they can't, and they don't WANT to . Remember God you created them for destruction " Grrrrr I demand they repent ALL men " make s perfect sense ?

That's because we don't take one verse out of context as you seem to like to do.

Oh we just changed verse and different book ?

Here, I'll do it real slow:

11 for the children being not yet born, neither having done anything good or bad, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth, Ro 9

...jibes with:

4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: Eph 1

"Not yet born" - elected.

"Before the foundation of the world" - chosen.

Pretty big accusation. I know my Bible very well.

I have placed Barry on ignore. He has no desire to actually read the Bible without inserting his unmovable bias. No matter how much scripture is shared, no matter how much context is expressed, he refuses to honestly approach God's word. He has his prejudice and he refuses to give it up. I have dusted off my sandals. May I suggest you do the same?

Peace

Sounds like several to me, what makes him worse than the others? This could easily describe @MB, you have him on ignore?

Been active on this board since 09 and have put only one person on ignore because his posts were excessively long and numerous and I wanted to eliminate all the scrolling, I didn't read his posts, I think few did.

I wish that you both would place me on permanent ignore because you both think you know all. All of what? I don't know but you keep insisting that you do. You both think your so intelligent,I don't have avy idea why you waste your time on me because only Christ saves.

I would not be surprised if Barry and MB are the same person.

Gentlemen,

The conduct here has convinced me to post one further time...
Enough of the provoking one another, please.
This has gone far past a polite discussion and has only spiraled into slinging mud at one another... and it grieves me to see such behavior on a Christian forum.

Can you return to the topic and be civil?
If not, perhaps the thread should be locked.

Of course only Christ saves. Did I say otherwise?

Elected to do what?
Ephesians 1:3-10

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

God tells you, Barry. You just have to read and stop arguing against God.

It can be a traumatic experience to have one's iron sharpened, especially when one needs it as badly as @MB. Note the vitriol and false nonsensical accusations towards 'Calvinists' his posts routinely contain. His obsessive hatred of the doctrines of God's Sovereign Grace needs to be checked. He asks for it.
