They, of course, are the mane ones. I do not relish the thought of horrid winds at end of March. I should much rather bask in sunshine and warmth once March ends.
It is so nice to see snow melting in the fields. It is now raining and that should help melt it further.

It's a grand sight to see wild turkeys in a tree! We have friends in Indiana who have this.
Our guineas roost in the tree above our house & one stray cat who they adopted sleeps up there with them!

Good Morning! I really like to read your descriptions of deer, turkey, and other animals and birds that are in your yard or nearby.
In our new yard, we have had hummingbirds and sparrows and that is all! I miss the squirrels, blue jays, mockingbirds, and cardinals, but I remember that it took me two years to get them to come to my old yard so I will try to be patient.
I am feeding the birds and we have sparrows and some kind of big black bird...not sure what. They may be cow birds..not big enough for crows or crackles.
We don't have very many trees and there are no electric wires in the neighborhood.
The only animal that may come in the yard is certainly not welcome...the skunk!

SisThankful! I recently discovered the "paint" program on this computer! Wow! I didn't know it could be so much fun!
I've drawn a mailbox, a rose, a pot of orange flowers, & a goose. My first black'n'white was a mountain scene with a stream & cabin. Don't know what to do with 'em now, haha, but it was great "therapy"!

The Waltons! Boy, I remember that show back when we watched a little tv. Even now, my Mister will call me "Old Woman" & I call him "Old Man"...and we have a table/benches like theirs too.
The only successful painting I did was a nude. It used to hang in my study until I finally took it down.
The rest of the story: I couldn't paint a picture to save my life. I could draw with charcoal, but not a paint brush. So, I took a blank canvas, framed it, and printed down in one corner "The Nude" and signed it. It is an original and I suspect would bring great money on ebay.

The painting was his lifelong work

Good morning to all who happen to rise and meet the sun.
Continuing rainy and mild here. The dreaded snow is sinking fast. The filthy stuff is being washed and melted before our eyes. Doesn't that remind you of when we came to Christ in all our filthy rags, and He melted and molded us into His likeness....We also rise to meet the Son.
