Not at all......it is fulfillment theology...it is the second Exodus! You are getting bad teaching from somewhere...it keeps you from using all 66 books.
LoL....I keep all 66 books in view. So the servants that Go into outer darkness in Chapter 25 of Matthew, Servants of The Kingdom, Were just not really saved to begin with?

Question, Do you guys think the world is going to become more "Christian-y" or less or n/a?

That is the caricature offered by critics to lazy to study it out.
The gospel and new birth is the only effective change.
No one wants to Christianize goats.

Vs 3.......them that are lost
Vs4....blinded the minds of them that believe not

Believers are not lost
Believers are not described as them that believe not then they wouldn't be believers.
That is what Paul is addressing here those who are lost and the reason they are lost.
He is not addressing the condition of Christians
He is making a factual statement just like he has made other factual statements:

Satan is the god of this world.
The whole world lies in hand of the wicked one.

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
--All the kingdoms of the world are his to give.

He is the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2)
He is the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience (Eph.2:2)

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
--He controls "spiritual wickedness in high places."

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
--All sin is of the devil. Everytime you sin it is of the devil. You are not perfect. You sin. It is of the devil, of his domain, his dominion of darkness. Sin is of the devil.

they never obeyed the king
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

So, works based salvation? Or really kind atheists?

I know atheists that obey Matt. 25, all of it.

Satan is a defeated foe;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

He is the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2)
He is the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience (Eph.2:2)

Look carefully.....who does he work in???? the children of disobedience

--All sin is of the devil. Everytime you sin it is of the devil

Sorry Flip Wilson....the devil did not make you do it.....your flesh did.

. You are not perfect. You sin. It is of the devil, of his domain, his dominion of darkness. Sin is of the devil

When you sin it is from you...not the devil.

I know atheists that obey Matt. 25, all of it.
Where did I say anything about a works based salvation?
Show where I said anything like that.
I speak of a salvation that works...not a works based salvation. I speak of kingdom responsibility here on earth, you cannot grasp it and instead look for a gotcha moment??? really...pull yourself together.
these knee jerk reactions indicate you are not taking time to think through and meditate upon the scriptures offered, but rather look to explain them away and go into a turtle shell defense.

by the way;
I know atheists that obey Matt. 25, all of it.
no you don't they do not do it unto the Lord.....by definition they deny God so their good works are sin.

I believe Matthew 25 to be part of the great tribulation.

10 `Because thou didst keep the word of my endurance, I also will keep thee from the hour of the trial that is about to come upon all the world, to try those dwelling upon the earth.

I would beg to differ. I'm not looking for a "gotcha" moment. I'm hoping you see that your view totally destroys the Together-ness of scripture. You have to do a lot of Cutting and pasting to make your view fit. Quite the contortion of interpretation, just my humble opinion. You're still my brother and i love you!

Matthew 24:21
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.

Anybody take this literally?

I'm supposing you are osas (mine is perseverance of the saints of course). Do you believe those were saved or lost?

Hey JonShaff,

I thought you might enjoy this poem:

Men don't believe in the Devil now, as their fathers used to do;
They've forced the door of the broadest creed to let his majesty through.
There isn't a print of his cloven foot or fiery dart from his brow
To be found on earth or air today, for the world has voted it so.

Who dogs the steps of the toiling saint and digs the pits for his feet?
Who sows the tares in the fields of time whenever God sows the wheat?
The Devil is voted not to be, and of course, the thing is true;
But who is doing the kind of work that the Devil alone can do?

We are told that he doesn't go about as a roaring lion now;
But whom shall we hold responsible for the everlasting row
To be heard in home, in church and state, to the earth's remotest bound,
If the Devil by unanimous vote is nowhere to be found?

Won't someone step to the front forthwith and make their bow and show
How the frauds and crimes of a single day spring up? We want to know!
The Devil was fairly voted out, and of course, The Devil's gone;
But simple people would like to know who carries the business on.

Do you believe what IT posted:

BTW I believe we yet wrestle not with flesh and blood but with spiritual wickedness in high places!

Apparently not. Instead you mock Satan and his power and like the liberal pretend that he is non-existent.
