Yes we do. We are the big consumer.
That has nothing to do with what they set as standards. We buy, they dictate how it is built and how the environment is impacted. We ignore their regulations and we sell nothing to them.

You simply don't get it, do you? That has nothing to do with what they set as standards. We buy, they dictate how it is built and how the environment is impacted. We ignore their regulations and we sell nothing to them.

I have done quite well in INTERNATIONAL business. That's why I retired early from law enforcement. I mainly deal with French and Canadian companies. I Will break it down so even you might have a chance of understanding it. Company A sells company B 1 million worth of goods per year. Company B sells Company A 50 million worth of goods per year. Company B decides it wants to become an eco Nazi and tells company A, due to your manufacturing processes not being clean enough we are no longer buying from you. Company A says, ok, snip, we are taking our 50 million in business away from you and buying from company C. Company C gladly buys the goods that company A manufactured.I can see you are no economist and have no understanding of how business works.
Nothing in this post is true or reasonableGuess he's already bored with his Florida retreat as it will be underwater in due course thanks in part to him.

You are Hilarious. When they suffer the retaleation for not buying our goods, they will have no choice other than to change their standard. All that is meaningless if you do not produce a product that meets the regulations of your customer. He/she will not buy it regardless of how inexpensively you sell the product. Trump removing us from the Paris Accord removes our voice and cedes the field to the Chinese and Europe. He has played politics and our economy is going to be severely harmed in the long-run. Again, if we do not produce products that meet their purchase requirements we will sell nothing.

You are still missing the entire point. They can't. The economic impact from trade retaliation will be too costly for them to provoke that retaliation. They will find another manufacturer who meets their requirements and buy from them.
So we cede the leadership of the environment to China and Europe. They will continue with no input from the US and that will have negative impacts on numerous corporations. Now China and Europe will tell us what automobile standards auto makers have to meet. If we neglect to change to their regulations we will be in deep doo-doo.
Politics and stupidity win out over prudent steps.

Your insult betrays the fact you have no argument
First of all, China has no room to talk! As for Europe, this is theirs to carry on with!
It was a wise move for Trump! Not for the green people, but for your normal, starving American in need of work, it was a brave and good move!

Your post was nonsensical. It was flip and a distraction. You didn't offer any insight or logical points. What are you complaining about?Your insult betrays the fact you have no argument
Trump said in the Rose Garden :"And that's fine too."
The EU has already said, "No, we are not going to negotiate a new accord."
