I agree with Eternal Security. I think that is the "P" in your TULIP. But, I am not a calvinist, I am a christian.

How can God keep you forever? Do you not have the will to turn your back on God?

the context was not changed. You can use whatever words you want..just so you do not change the context. Understand? yet?

You don't think you added your doctrine into those verses? You don't think you added meaning to fit what you believe?

I have asked you to explain this verse:

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Where have I changed the meaning, context, or any of the words in this verse? Understand? Yet?

BTW, I don't expect you to tell me what you think the verse means. (You never have before.)

Are you saying God did not predestinate us?

Are you being "willfully ignorant"? The verse clearly says "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

I underlined the words that you ignored and changed.

Why would I do that? And no.

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I'm saved, but, I'm still a man.

Yes, all who are saved will be conformed to the image of God's Son.
Are you saying that will be conformed....or are they conformed?

In other words...is there a state where are saved, yet not conformed?

It's a process that begins when we are saved. I don't think you believe you are the image of Christ, do you? You are like him, in that you are now a son of God, (by adoption), you now have some of his characteristics, though not perfect, but, you are getting more like him daily.

So then you would say it is linked to the word "predestinate" and should be looked at as one subject?

Sorry...I need to go to bed.

Talk with ya tomorrow.
