They were chosen for salvation by the Spirit setting them apart in Christ based on God crediting their faith, not some imaginary given faith, as righteousness.
The Spirits work is Salvation. Titus 3:5-6

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Now according to these scriptures how were we saved ?

On and on, more questions rather than addressing the answers given over and over.

How are we saved? God chooses an individual for salvation by spiritually setting that person apart in Christ, the sanctification by the Spirit, based on crediting the person's faith as righteousness. In Christ they undergo the washing of regeneration, they are made alive together with Christ, also called the circumcision of Christ where whatever God held against the individual is removed, and then the individual is indwelt with the Holy Spirit, our Helper who carries out the renewing of our mind.

Now a person might not agree with the above gospel of Christ, but to claim they do not know that interpretation of scripture is laughable.

The Spirit saves by regeneration, thats what Salvation is in 2 Thess 2:13, the ones Christ redeemed and legally saved from the penalty of their sins, will also be saved by the Spirit from the power of sin. Christ wouldn't be a complete Saviour if He didnt also save the inner man where sin rules.

Utter nonsense!!!!!!!!!!! The total disregard for the obvious truth of scripture is mind boggling. A person must have been transferred from the realm of darkness into the kingdom of the Son, before regeneration occurs. Anyone can see we are made alive (regenerated) together with Christ.

Yeah, the Salvation the Thessalonians were chosen to was 2 Thess 2:13

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

One has to be saved to believe the Truth

Notice how the fact we are chosen for salvation through faith means the above claim is utter nonstop nonsense. You are not chosen then given faith, the absurd unbiblical claim from the dark ages, we are chosen through or on the basis of God crediting our faith as righteousness. Such a simple concept, but some pretend they cannot grasp Romans 4.

One has to be saved to believe the Truth, its part of Salvation. The work of the Spirit in us is vital to the Salvation Christ Jesus provides and accomplishes, for saving His People from their sins Matt 1:21

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

False, Christ of God has been credited our righteousness 1 Cor 1:30

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Faith believes and rests in that fact. Jesus the Lord is our righteousness Jer 3316

In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.

Now you are promoting self righteousness, your faith, your faith isnt righteousness. May God grant you repentance

Thats false, the elect are chosen to faith/obedience which is calvation conversion 1 Pet 1:2

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Folks, read 1 John 2:2. Did Christ become the means of reconciliation for the whole of humanity?

Folks, read 2 Thessalonians 2:13, does God choose individuals for salvation through faith in the truth?

Pay no attention to posters who simply proclaim this or that but cannot even cite a single verse that actually supports their false doctrines.
No! He did not

II Thess 3:2 “…… for not all have faith”
