Apostle Paul preached to Theologians in synagogues, also on Mars Hill. He also preached to other Gentiles where ever he went. He also preached to kings.

His message was: Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The message has not changed where ever it is preached. Knowing that God is Omnipresent, Omnicient and Omnipotent is not prerequisite to salvation. "Believe on the Lord, Jesus Christ and you shall be saved--and your household," was enough to convert the Phillipian jailor.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Those that do not know scripture say salvation is based on believing the right doctrine. All these pride driven assertions are a stain on Christianity. Love your God will all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Contrition and humility, not I am the smartest guy in the room.

Again, that ist he very last to believe in to get saved, but one must also hold to the other essentials of the Faith to show was a real conversion...

We seem to be mixing salvation and sanctification. Salvation is a specific point in time. Sanctification is a life long process. See Ephesians 2: 8-10.

"Repent and believe the Gospel" (Mark 1:15).
All that is required to be saved is to understand that you are a sinner, repent of your sins and trust in the shed blood of Christ to save you. However, in order for people to do that they have to be born anew by the Spirit of God (John 3:1-15 etc.). Having been born anew, the Christian will accept further truth as it is revealed to him.

I agree that all that God requires is to do what you posted Brother Martin, but also after salvtion, do see that there are essentials that we must agree and hold to in order to be really a Christian...

True Christianity will result from holding to right doctrines.

Just once we would like to see you back up your unbiblical assertions with scripture.

Becoming a born anew Christian occurs after God credits your faith in Christ as righteousness and then transfers you spiritually into Christ. Not spiritually in Christ, not saved. Spiritually in Christ, saved. Romans 4:4-5. We are not only saved through faith, we were chosen for salvation through faith, 2 Thessalonians 2:13.

We were chosen by God to be saved in Christ, and being te elect/chosen by Him, will place faith in Jesus and confirm the Election.
And once saved, God requires us to hold with correct doctrines, especialyl the Essential ones!

LOL, yes we were chosen, through faith, therefore faith comes before election. 2 Thess 2:13.

No verse says God requires us to hold to "correct" doctrines. If that were true, the majority of professing Christians would fall short of God's requirements. Try basing your beliefs on scripture rather than man-inspired malarkey.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

.We have faith because God chose us before we chose Him! John Gospel
And Paul made a real big deal on proper doctrines being held, as did all other NT writers, correct?
You must have proper theolgy to have real gospel and real jsus!

I disagree other wise we would be making our selves judges of the Salvation of others. The only Judge we all have is Jesus Christ. When someone says they are saved I accept it. Who ever claims Christ openly is not ashamed. It's like a confession of belonging to Christ.
It is my belief what Christ said about those working miracles in His name.

Mar 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part.

Even though we can disagree on semantics we still serve the same God.

I've Had people tell me I'm not saved because I do not believe as they do. This kind of judgement shows us all just who they are in Christ.
I remember a good sermon I heard once about avoiding fellowship with Christian brothers thinking they were hypocrites among them. As long as we allow hypocrites to come between us and our fellowship the hypocrites are closer to God than we are. In other words just ignore them and fellowship any way and we end up closer to God than the hypocrites. Being a Christian isn't easy at times but when we are humble rather than judgemental we can grow in Christ.

Just saying that we mut hold to righ theology in order to haereal salvation! For example, Catholics claim to have the real Gospel, but their theology show that they do not!
