The Christan Faith is having the real Jesus, and also in having the truths of His doctrines known and applied out!
Obviously, but you seem to think that God cannot reveal Himself to humankind without your systematic theology mediating the process.

True Christianity will result from holding to right doctrines.
No. Holding right doctrine is the result of True Christianity.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

That is the very essence of Theology, the Study of God. If we don't study God how do we know how great He is? :)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I see the stars, I hear the roaring thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed....." This causes one's soul to sing--no theology degrees required.

The most awesome aspect of God is His Grace--that He would save a wretch like me...

My problem is with the unregenerated right reverend doctors telling us what God is about. Some seminaries and churches are overrun with those who are hirelings--in it for the money.

Nothing personal.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

I don't recall saying a theology degree was required. But study IS required (that is what the "ology" in "theology" means). 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Study for sure.

The point I am trying to make is that we are heading back to a cleric class and a laity class. The laity expect the clerics to do the studying. This puts the clerics in charge. A good historical example would be the so called holy see. The largest so called Christian group bows to a so called holy see, even today. The sovereignty of the NT Church is in jeopardy. See: the deeds of the Nicolaitans. The gates of Hell are still at work. They shall not prevail.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Well, the Bible does state that He has given Pastors and Teachers to us, correct?
I do undratand your main point, as e hve whole groups of people following likes of Joel Olsteen and wof, none teaching real and true doctrines!

No scriptures says we must believe the right doctrines to be saved. Those pushing that are pushing fake news.

Scripture says those who believe into Him will not perish, but have eternal life. You can look it up.

Which comes first, faith or election for salvation? 2 Thess. 2:13 says we are chosen for salvation through faith in the truth. Therefore when we were chosen in Him before creation, we were chosen corporately rather than individually. Those claiming otherwise are pushing fake news.

Essentials?

Faith in the Truth
Jesus is both the Son of God and the Messiah.
No one comes to the Father except through Jesus.
We must believe in the Father in order to believe in the Son.
Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

If God has not put you in Christ, you are condemned to Hades and Gehenna.

You believe that Jesu is God, and that He died in you rplace, for your sins, and that God resurrected HIm. Isn't that a theology?

God chose us to get saved in Christ, and then we confirm that election was/is true by receivng Jesus as Messiah/Lord!

Folks, more fake news, more false claims. God chose us for salvation through faith in the truth. This truth (2 Thess. 2:13) teaches we are chosen individually for salvation during our lifetime after we believe in Christ.

No matter how many times contrary to scripture claims are made, the claims are fake news.

Recently, a California elected person, offered a bill to require schools to teach how to discern fake news. That is putting the fox in charge of the hen-house. We need independent schools (supported by vouchers) to teach critical thinking. Trust but verify. Fake news is propagated by an echo chamber. Insist on scripture, with each verse explained in detail, not any number of people reading the same claims and repeating it.

The Bible clearly states that God first chosses us to be saved in Jesus, an then we confirm our election by choosing Jesus..
Romans 8 is Gods view on salvation...

Yes, as others have suggested or alluded - Proper theology is the fruit of the rebirth.

As we study the word we will develop the essentials of the christian faith via the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The essentials of the Christian faith would of necessity be Christo-centric.

A few:

The Incarnation.
The Deity of Christ.
The Trinity.
The Hypostatic Union.
The Virgin Birth of Christ.
The Kenosis.
The Vicarious Atonement of Christ.
The Death Burial and Resurrection of Christ.
The Impeccability of Christ.
The Bodily Return of Christ.
The Great White Throne Judgment.

Obviously this won't happen overnight and depending on the individual there might be a limited grasp of these doctrine but certainly there will be acceptance since it is The Spirit who gave the regeneration.

Nope, the Bible clear states the opposite. God chooses us individually through faith in the truth. Thus we have already put our faith in Jesus before God chooses us. 2 Thessalonians 2:13.

Romans 8 agrees with this view.
