I finished Chapter one today and have posted some opening comments on my blog if you guys want to go there and look at it and possibly add your thoughts. This is all I really have to say for now. I dont know if anyone else had this problem or not, but I just realized that there were 2 posts on Joseph's blog ...I had the original one bookmarked and just realized there was a second post on Jeri's problem with a comment. Just finished The Prarie People: Forgotten Anabaptists by Rod Janzen.

Concerns the Hutterites who migrated to (mostly) North Dakota in the late 1800's. Some of them chose communal living, some chose to live in individual homes on the prarie, hence the name "Prarie People", or Prarieluet. In the first several decades there was much movement back and forth and inter-marriage between the 2 groups.
The book covers up to the late 1990's.

Anyway, I found it to be interesting.

Just started A Biblical Theology of the Old Testament edited by Roy Zuck, and written by various faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary. This is part of my autographed collection of books. Probably won't just read it through, am looking at the Isaiah and Ezekiel portions.
