I gave you a chance to take back a nasty comment, in another thread, and you didn't. It was completely unwarranted, but you left it up there, after being challenged twice, by at least two people. You are a nasty dude, and I will continue to point it out. You had better get used to it. You aren't the king here, you only think you are.

That being said, if the president didn;'t break every campaign promise he's made, and if the president wouldn't treat people like they were stupid, he wouldn't have to worry about stuff like this. My only problem is his apology.

The comment to which you refer was not nasty. I purposefully did not retract. Tough.

And again, your cavalier attitude about Tourette's shows you to be a real nasty person yourself. You brought me up here, not I. Obviously your fascination goes beyond what is considered normal. You are the one who chases me around from thread to thead for no purpose other than to sling insults. You need to seriously do some repenting.

Again, it is a legitimate question...does Wilson perhaps have Tourette's?

I rest my case. Nasty. Accusation of racism, no explanation. Nasty. If you are allwoed to do that, then I most certainly am allowed to bring it up.

You are the cavalier one, dude. You throw accusations around here like frisbees, and then say it's the other person's problem. I work with drug addicts, and a lot of them have beaten their wives, and then blamed them for instigating it. You remind me of one of them.

Again, it is a legitimate question...does Wilson perhaps have Tourette's?

It's a nasty question. If not, then mine isn't, either. What is the disease to which you blame your nasty attitude ?

Now you have gone off into the theater of the absurd.

It's a nasty question.
Your saying so doesn't make it so. Can you explain why you would think this? It is perfectly legitimate. Tourette's causes such outbursts.

What is the disease to which you blame your nasty attitude?
Yet another personal attack. Remove the mote from your own eye.

No, he should be suspended or censured in some other way. A British MP who called his/her head of state a liar would be suspended from Parliament. All three of the poll answers are correct: yes, it was inappropriate and disgraceful conduct; yes, he reflected the frustrations and fears of many middle-Americans; yes, he was within his rights (freedom of speech etc) to say what he said - as long as he's prepared to take the consequences like a man....which brings me to a point: only a year ago, it seemed to some Republicans that for Americans to criticise the President was little short of treason, and now they're reduced to childish heckling; why can't they accept that they received a drubbing at the polls last November and quit with the cry-baby act? A defeated opposition party - which is effectively what they now are on a Federal level - needs to regroup, rethink and relaunch, not keep fighting the battles of yesteryear that they've lost. Democracies need healthy, vibrant oppositions and the Republicans risk a lengthy stint in the wlderness at the rate they're going...which would be a shame.

Just my Limey $0.02:smilewinkgrin:

In an earlier post I questioned your assertion above. I have just heard Niles Gardiner of the Heritage Foundation, who is from England, comment on Rep. Wilson [Neal Cavuto show]. He stated that the exchanges on the floor of the House of Commons is far worse than that by Rep. Wilson. That has been my impression from listening to the exchanges in the House of Commons. Therefore, your assertion that: "A British MP who called his/her head of state a liar would be suspended from Parliament." is apparently false.

MP it is a bit odd that you would ask such a question. It doesn't fit with the scenario. reaching to touretts because of this outburst is itself off the chart absurd. Just because someone has an outburst doesn't lead to this.

If you knew anything about Tourette's, you would realize it is not odd at all. As one who has mild Tourette's and has raised a son with moderately severe T.S., I assure you it fits the condition very well. Does it mean the congressman has it? No. But many cases are undiagnosed. Impulse control is a big part of T.S. That is why I raise the question. It is a valid question. One I personally know a heck of a lot about, probably more than anyone else on this board.

OR, the biblical command IS to speak with love and grace. If one cannot obey the command when they speak, then they should not speak. The best illustration of a man confronting a king over his sin is Nathan the prophet saying to David "Thou art the man!" I would think that these words were spoken more in sorrow than in anger. Also, note that Nathan led David to the conclusion so that, at the end, when the words were spoken, David agreed that he was in sin and he repented of it. Ultimately, that is the reason we speak with grace and love, because, just as it is the kindness of God that leads us to repentence, it is words truly spoken in the right spirit that God can use to turn a person from their sin. The Reps words, because of their tone, are being used to harden Obama in his error. A case of a wrong method bringing about an undesirable result.

Did Jesus Christ speak with love and grace when he used His whip in the temple? Did Paul speak with love and grace when he told the church at Corinth to exclude the adulterer? Did Paul speak with love and grace when he chastised Peter? Did John the Baptist speak with love and grace when he called the Pharisees vipers?

Care to explain? Again, you guys don't get it do you? It is a legitimate concern.

Did you raise that concern every time some democrat, including Harry Reid, called President Bush a liar? Did you raise that concern when Senator Turbin Durbin called American soldiers "jack booted thugs"? Did you raise that concern when Murtha and Kerry accused American soldiers of rape and murder in Iraq?

Your comments show your misunderstanding of TS. Read what I have written. It has a lot to do with impulse control and making inappropriate outbursts at the worst possible times. Your examples have nothing to do with that. It is not an insult. People with TS cannot help having it. I was actually wondering if there is a better explanation than just him being rude. Since I have experience with this, it is what comes to mind.

To those who are accusing me of being a troll , accusing me of being robert snow(i think that is his name) and those accusing me of being alitide, you are being paranoid I am Xavier Zapata. Johv you are being unfair I responded to this Mitchell Spammer because he mocked my post by just putting dots........................like that he did not add anything plus he called me a troll also. Again I am not a troll, I am a fellow believer who has seen Latinos treated badly by extremist whites and right wing religion, again these are hard working people who mow your yards, feed you in restaurants, build your roads, take care of your kids. I will let robert snow and alitide speak for themselves all I have to say is people can get paranoid if you do not parrot their views and lash out and accuse you of being someone else they hate, that is not right and is unfair.

thank you Senor Poles for the fact check , i agree it is the truth

En Mi Modesta Opinión

While I am grateful for every soldier, trooper, and marine... they do not give me freedom. God gives freedom... nations affirm that freedom, militaries defend that freedom.

I am not the one following you around making personal attacks. Get over it. And also how about answering the question.

Pound sand. You've left some pretty good, legit questions unanswered. Like I said, you only think you're a king around here. Why don't YOU answer some, first?

I also would add, those of you who think TS is just shouting out obscenities hold a common misconception. That symptom (copralalia) is not present in most TS sufferers.

Until you can engage in meaningful, rational dialog, I shall not engage you. I answer questions continually, while you avoid them and make personal insults. You are the worst offender here. And you have absolutely no idea what I think.
