What happened to the caravan after the midterm elections?

Do you, as a Christian, think guns are the solution? This is a matter of faith for me. I put my faith in the Lord not guns.

In what lord? Maybe the one who said if you have no sword to sell your garment and buy one [Luke 22:36]? If you ain't got a sword, then start auctioning your Hanes or Fruit of the Looms.

The solution for what?

Again, my list of guns - a semi-automatic pistol, a revolver, a pump shotgun, a double barrel shotgun, a .22 semi-automatic rifle, and a 270 semi-automatic rifle. I am planning on picking up a semi-automatic shotgun.

Which ones should I not be able to own? Which ones do you believe a Christian should not own? Why?

I went hunting with the rifles (now I go to the range).
I enjoy going to the indoor range down the road with my wife....that is what I use the pistols for.

The pump shotgun was originally for Turkey hunting. My son used it when he first joined the High School skeet team. Then he got a double barrel but we are looking at a semi-automatic Remington. He is not as fond of the double barrel as he thought and the pump is one more movement.

How is this putting faith in guns?????
The solution for stopping the large number of homicides and mass killings in America, far more than in other developed countries. The recommendation for the parkland HS in Florida is to arm the teachers. I think that's ridiculous. It only increases the gun mania in America.

So you do not believe that there will be a wall around Heaven?
I believe that Heaven will be far greater than anything we can imagine. Consider seeing Christ face to face and knowing Him as He knows us. It will be magnificent and we shouldn't limit God by thinking just what it will entail.

What did Jesus do when Peter used it to cut off the soldier's ear? Jesus is a Lord of love not violence.

But what does that have to do with my guns?

You are arguing against gun ownership, and asserting it may indicate a lack of faith. That doesn't make sense to me.

Can you explain?

I didn't say it did if you never plan to use them to kill people.

You don't know what you are talking about, do you?

You have no facts to back up your points. Actually, socialists want to disarm people so they can confiscate their property and push them around. There never has been a socialist success anywhere in the world in all the history of the world.

The Green God - Greed.

Oops not sure of the color of a Pound Note.

Socialists think that they are owed everything for free by the working people because they themselves are so intelligent. To each according to their need means that they are owed. Do you think a ten dollar co pay on Medicare is fair when under socialism like Cuba everything is free? Do you think that the bosses in socialism should get the same treatment as a Christian?

What did Jesus do when Peter used it to cut off the soldier's ear? Jesus is a Lord of love not violence.

It's non-violent to chase merchants out of the temple with a whip and knock over their tables with money and animals? And I presume you mean the high priest's slave, whose right ear was cut off by Peter's sword. And Jesus made it clear they are not there to fight an earthly flesh&blood battle. If I looked at this truly objectively, I would be inclined to say Jesus can't make up his mind on that point. Or maybe we can use a whip, but only own a sword.

Anyway, I guess that slave was included in another statement of Jesus: "He who has ears, let him hear."

And what about calling scribes and Pharisees hypocrites and white washed tombs full dead men's bones and all uncleanness? Is that loving?

It's not Biblical to say that God in the person of Jesus can't make up His mind.
