Verse.John 8
he does not!let me ask you this, do you think that the NASB and ESV translations are also Inspired by the Holy Spirit?
Yet again, that depends on the dispensation/age.
In the church age it's Biblical.
In the tribulation and the millennial kingdom it's not Biblical.
Prove that with scriptures. No translation is inspired!
he does not!
Prove that with scriptures.
So you can't. Noted.moot argument!
O know am saved right now, due to be sealed by the Holy Spirit!Because Calvinists, due to Lordship salvation, only find out for sure if they were one of the elect after a lifetime of persevering. You haven't yet persevered a lifetime so you could still potentially fall away and have it turn out that you weren't one of the elect after all.
Fancy this. A non-Calvinist who "doesn't" understand Calvinism explaining it to a Calvinist.
We had an entire thread about this.
So you can't. Noted.
Jesus also stated that he is the Shepherd over both Jews and Gentiles flock! Both in the Church of Christ!Romans 11:25 KJV
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
we have been sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption, as in glorification of this body, so how is it cannot be sure yet? This is a statement contradicted by scripture and taught by no "Calvinist" that I know. Certainly the Doctrines of Grace do not teach that Perseverance of the Saints means "You cannot know that you are a Saint until you have Persevered to the end". It teaches exactly the opposite. The Saints, the Elect, those CHOSEN by God will persevere to the end because God is able to make them persevere to the end. Charles Spurgeon taught no such nonsense as you claim. R.C.Sproul taught no such nonsense as you claim.
So once again, a non-Calvinist that is an expert on what Calvinists believe raising up and tearing down yet another strawman.
[Sigh] I would claim to be surprised, but the truth is this is just "par for the course".
Sola Gratia
Sola Fide
Solus Christus
Sola Scriptura
Soli Deo Gloria
I don't deny that. I'm saying you can't know that 100% based on the Calvinist system, because in that system you only find out that you're assuredly one of the elect after dying after a lifetime of persevering. So your works are practically your assurance.O know am saved right now, due to be sealed by the Holy Spirit!
Repent from our own efforts and food works to get saved!it is those who peddle this heresy of "sola fide", as though it is taught in the Bible, who are really arguing with God Himself! Jesus VERY CLEARLY says, that ALL sinners must "REPENT and BELIEVE" (Mark 1:15), NOT just "faith" which is a FALSE teaching! I would like you to respond to this passage from Mark.
Well of course. But the body is Gentile, like Rebekah, Asenath, Zipporah, Rahab, Ruth, and the daughter of Pharaoh - all Gentile women married to a Jewish royal seed.Jesus also stated that he is the Shepherd over both Jews and Gentiles flock! Both in the Church of Christ!
Repent from our own efforts and food works to get saved!
Again, it depends on the dispensational context.Repent from our own efforts and food works to get saved!
This makes no sense.Of course, as a body.
can you prove from Scripture, that we ONLY have 66 Books in the Holy Bible, as approved by God? Can you prove from Scripture, that the Roman Catholic bible with the Apocrypha, is not to be accepted?
was there a Gospel preached before salvation was actually accomplished?Jesus says that BOTH Repentance AND Faith are required to get saved. anything else is a false gospel!
Again, it depends on the dispensational context.
