When Will Obama's Wave Crash?

I don't know when and/or if Obama's wave will crash, but he just won the "Amercians abroad" Democratic primary yesterday, making it 11 wins in a row in primaries and caucuses. I believe he had received 3.5 delegates to 2.5 for Clinton, at the time.

Don't 'zackley get how you have half a person voting, though.

What an Amazing Ride

This post has gone everywhere in 15 pages or less...it is interesting to see just where are ideals and politics take us spiritually.

Let's agree on one thing folks, America needs a radical change to get it back on track. I may hate myself in the morning, but, Obama may be the person, if in fact he can keep riding the wave all the way to the shore. However, I see him doing a spectacular "wipe out" within the first 12 to 18 months of taking office.

Remember this one truth. A newly elected president already has a group of people that "hate him/her and want them to fail." That is the group that didn't vote for him. Secondly, those that rode the train to victory start jumping off as the train moves out of the station in Victory City.

I would never tell anyone to not pray for this nation and ALL its elected officials. We are mandated to pray for the leaders of our nation. But, we are not mandated to follow them to the gates of hell. Prayer helps us to discern the truth and keep ourselves pure for God.

Don't one of those who fall so deeply under the Obama spell to break free when the time comes.

Nothing to be sorry about, but we often are subjected to the view that "Communism" is at one end of the political spectrum and "Fascism" and it's more extreme cousin "Naziism", are at the other end of the spectrum. This is usually a false choice presented by those who 'want to split the difference' with a modified socialism, of some form, although a few have merely 'bought into the program', without considering this in any detail.

These are some of the choices usually offered, in a sort of 'descending order?' :

Communism ('Utopian' or Marxist Socialism)
'pure' Socialism
'limited' Socialism
'Democratic' Socialism
Fascism (Federal Socialsim)
Naziism (National Socialism)

Do you notice that is is all 'socialism'?
All center upon some sort of all-powerful state!
Do you notice there is no room in this view for individuals in a free state or a constitutional Republic?

Anywhere?

I am aware of how Stalin came to power but Mussolini's rise is not clear to me.
BTB, I am in agreement with you again regarding the Socialist scale. It is clear that our slide toward the socialist state is and will be similar to all nations that have taken that path.

A step, but I don't know that it was necessarily the first step. There were some previous ones in the US as well, albeit some may have been unwitting. The well known push for the League of Nations would qualify as an intended step, IMO.

The scripture that people use for this situation is the one that says that God appoints kings...

But we don't live in a monarchy... we are in a constitutional republic/ democracy.... so in this case, we are our own rulers....

Because of this God expects us to rule our nation wisely...
The way he would expect kings to rule wisely, and make the best decisions.

The concept behind it, is that God is ultimately in control... and yes, he will allow even wicked rulers to rule.

And he allows his people to be ruled by wicked rulers..

Adversity helps shape our character.

And yes, I would consider Obama as wicked.. .anyone that supports Partial birth abortion is a wicked person...
Anyone that says that 2 homosexuals can unite in marriage.. is a wicked person...
Anyone that supports cloning... is a wicked person.
