Moriah, your doing alot of proof texting without context. My take away from your post is that you believe one must keep the Law to be saved. Is this what you believe?

I know you were talking to HP, but as for me, my God is not how you describe Him.

The verse speaks about the impossibility of keeping the law.
It is impossible to go through life without sin. This verse especially is speaking of the unsaved trying to attain salvation through the law. Look down to verse 13, of Gal.3, now:

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
--We don't have to keep the law in order to be saved. Why? Because Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, that same curse mentioned in verse 10. Remember it was nailed to the cross. He was nailed to the cross. Thus our sins are forgiven, past, present and future. No longer do I have to go daily to a high priest with a sin offering. Christ, once and for all, paid the debt with the one-time sacrifice of himself.

Not sure I follow, your God is Jesus Christ, correct? And my God is Jesus Christ. Do you think that somehow there are two Jesus Christ?

I did not just proof text. That is your false accusation. I believe we have to work out our salvation with trembling and fear. I take pleasure in the fear of the Lord.

You should go daily to the high priest with a sin offering called confession.

If you have given up one sin, and you gave it up through Jesus Christ, then why can you not give up two sins, and three sins, etc.?
If you have given up any sin, then why do you have such a hard time preaching obedience to Christ?

So do I, I think were the problem lies is in what "fear" means to you. It doesn't mean "afraid" to me, it means reverence for me. I do not fear my sins will cause God to disown me. I believe God's mercy and grace is too large to throw His own children in hell.

Do you believe in total depravity? Do you believe in the TULIP teaching?
    Answer yes or no.

Moriah, do you understand the full scope of what sin is? Have you drifted any stop signs? Have you gone a few miles per hour over the speed limit much? I believe the bible says that ALL wrong doing is sin.

It's a loaded question. Give YOUR definition of Total depravity and I will answer.

Do you live under the Levitical Law? Just wondering.

I don't need an offering. I can go straight to him.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
I can. But it doesn't mean I won't sin again. Can you give up "the sin of frustration" or anger, or misrepresentation, or false accusation (lying)? I have seen all of those evidenced here on the board. If you can give up one sin, why not all of them? What do they say Moriah? Practice what you preach!
I do preach that. But I also preach reality, not simply theory and that which is unrealistically unattainable in this life, as you have quite aptly demonstrated on this board.

Maybe you should be afraid. There is wisdom in fearing the Lord. Jesus says if you want to remain in God’s love, then you have to obey his teachings.

As for God not throwing His children into Hell, do you believe you have to repent anymore? If you fear God, it will be easier to repent from your sins, and then you will see how pleasurable it is to fear God, when you have gotten rid of another sin in your life.

You have a lot of debating problems, for you to ask such questions.
    Who said you could not?
Do you really think that you are a person who can righteously judge me? Do you really think that I am guilty of those things just because you are? Do you really believe that I am guilty of those things just because you say so?
I have only seen you falsely accuse, as an accuser. I have only seen you advocate sin. I have only seen you say it is natural for Christians to sin, and to sin daily and constantly.
I do not see such preaching in the Bible.

I will never be afraid of my Friend who loves me and telss me that NOTHING can seperate me from Him.

I repent and confess daily because i LOVE God, not because I am afraid of God. True pleasure is understanding God is not an angry God. There is no pleasure in being afraid of God.

You are blind to your own prominant sin which shows up in your post almost daily. DHK has NEVER, EVER advocated sin. THis is called "bearing a false witness" and you do this over and over as you self-righteously declare you do not sin like we all say we do! Come on brother! Open your eyes, we are trying to help you out of your state of pride. (Which is another sin BTW)

If you believe that it is sin to drift through a stop sign, then why do you do it? If you believe it is a sin to go a few miles per hour over the speed limit, then do not do it. Why do you drift through stop signs? Why do you speed? Are those things that hard for you to stop doing?

You are a false witness. You are blind. You also need to quote me where I say I do not sin. Your eyes are closed. You are prideful. For everything that you falsely accuse me of, I see what you are guilty of doing.

You are a harasser. Why do you not answer the questions? I have not ever had a ticket for driving or parking in my whole life. I stop at stop signs and do my best to keep my foot at the posted speed limit.
