    Amen, as the specific focus on that passage is those who will be following jesus as Apostles, not as to who were saved or not!

    No. The heart is changed BEFORE conversion/temporal salvation. It's the primary theme of the first 21 verses of John 3. Before one can enter, or even see the kingdom of God, they must FIRST be born from above.

    no, God knew that Judas would betray Jesus, and used him, but did not "choose" him to do this

    "unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God"

    No Spirit, no second birth.

    God chose Judas to fulfill the part of one to betray Jesus....
    God predestined judas to do such, but Judas still was a willing participate to being the betrayer!

    1Pet. 2:8 and
    “A stone of stumbling
    And a rock of offense.”     They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.
