    [IMG] Psa 8:5
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
    Heb 2:7
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
    Heb 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

    1. Man is lower than the angels in their natural state,

    2. Fallen Man is equal to the angels in their fallen state "(isoaggles") darkness, dead etc.

    3. Saved men are equal to the unfallen angels

    Luk 20:36
Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

    Jhn 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power tobecome the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

    4. Man who are redeemed will judge the angels who are in their fallen state

I had a long & sometimes heated discussion on another site with a gent who insisted that, since God is a Spirit, He has no body. I kept repeating SCRIPTURAL PROOF that He DOES have a body when He desires. That Spiritual proof is:

Exodus 33:20 But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” 21 And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. 22 So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”

Pretty positive proof that God does indeed have a body when He chooses. So, we are made in the image (not the SUBSTANCE) of God's body. After all, He said, "Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness."

And, of course, He can assume any form He chooses, whenever He chooses. The Holy Spirit assumed the form pof a dove at Jesus' baptism.

    face means presence

take away my hand means , allow something to happen, or not stop something from happening

    Mat 3:16
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

It descended like a dove, not became one.

GOD said face, hand, back. No indication He was using symbolism.

And you conveniently ignored this Scripture -

Luke 3:22and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.”

And the HS is HE, not "it"!

descended like a dove, It dropped like a dove, not became a dove

    Jhn 4:24

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Why are you trying to humanize God?

    Heb 2:14

    Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

He became human with a body so that He could be our compassionate high priest.

    Hebrews 4
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

What are His hands for? I'm told that everything He prepared for us was made without hands.
