Dangling participles are especially abhorrent, so be careful.

I think what you are talking about is now called ethnicity or nationality. Remember the educational system in the USA is the worst in the industrialized world.

I doubt anyone on here cares one whit about your nation, tribe, people, or tongue—or race—you would be welcome in their church. I would add—with the Ford Model-T in reverse—“as long as you’re white,” but you probably wouldn’t think it funny. Seriously, do you think that this thread was started in a golden rule vein but has somehow deviated?

You're misreading the poster. Once again I am recommending that, as best we can, emotion needs to be left out of our conversations.

 

Just because a Westerner shares the Gospel in a foreign land does not mean everything he has needs to be duplicated. All cultures can have valuable perspective when seen through the eyes of one delivered and transformed. And many cultures are being re-impacted with the Gospel. America could surely use more of that.

Oh, and not all examples are ones to follow, some are warnings (1 Cor 10). So be careful with those "only"s.
