God created us with the independent ability to choose our own path. He "intends" to save any and all who respond to His undeserved grace and love (John 3:16).

Joshua 24:15: "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

No...men are bound in sin...they are not neutral but oppose God.

Tell that to Jonathan Edwards, Isaac Newton, and Isaac Waats (who no doubt is a celebrated hymn-writer you use every Sunday).

so Joshua is mistaken to ask people to "choose" and therefore the Bible is in error?

He says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HELL, BECAUSE NO WRITER OF SCRIPTURE DOES.
He says PLENTY about the fate of the damned: (as all Scripture writers do)
He says PLENTY about the fate of the lost: (as all Scripture writers do)

And he says God takes no pleasure in their "DEATH".
"DEATH" is the fate of the wicked.

That's true from Genesis chapter 2: to Rev. 22
Ezekiel is lamenting the fate of the damned......
You just don't see it because you already think you know what Ezekiel thinks the fate of the damned is, and you refuse to let him instruct you on it.
You are imposing your own bias on the entirety of all Scripture.........including Ezekiel

""shall not perish" The implication is that some will perish (aorist middle subjunctive). Their perishing (amollumi, aorist middle subjunctive) is directly related to their lack of a faith response to Jesus (cf. John 11:25). God does not cause, direct, or will their unbelief (cf. Ezek. 18:23,32; 1 Tim. 2:4; 2 Pet. 3:9)." - Bob Utley

Now show that he is wrong

You do not understand the verse as usual.
You ignore who it was spoken to and why.
This is why you are consistently wrong and in over your head when you attempt to attack the historic faith.
You are making carnal arguments not according to scripture.

All mankind is perishing apart from God's grace and mercy. They are not neutral. You fail to answer what you are asked to answer and seek to bounce out to other texts when you cannot answer.

You still show no understanding here as you have been offered help on this from many here.
    God ordained the means.

    No he doesn't.
    Prove that.
    AHA!
So, God DESTROYS both body and Soul in hell!!
And here, I thought you weren't an Annihilationist.
I thought you believed God intentionally kept people alive for the sole purpose of torturing them forever.
Good to know you aren't as lost as I thought.
Yes, God can DESTROY BOTH BODY AND SOUL in hell.
No, God casts sinners into Hell:
In Hell, according to Jesus (but not Austin) God DESTROYS BOTH BODY AND SOUL.
    That's what Jesus taught.
You teach whatever you feel like.
Yes, he destroys them, body and soul.
