There are a number of issues. Dimwits? Your word not mine.
Different presuppositions will cause different conclusions.

The human soul. Immortal versus mortal.

What role did God's knowledge of good
and and evil play in mankind's sinful nature? What was written on it this regard?

It would seem you did not understand my understanding of Ephesians 1:3-4.

I take this as your way of saying you cannot discuss theology.

Tell us your rational interpretation of Ephesians 1:3-4 and then show us how Arminians and Calvinists are irrational.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

Was Jeremiah chosen or elect in this verse?
    *Jeremiah 1:5*
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

He was chosen/elect to service not to salvation. So you can use either word.

So, at the point that God spoke to Jeremiah, he wasn't saved?

It does not say whether he was or not, but we do know that he was chosen to service.

The problem with you brethren is YOU have the wrong man... When did man become like us?... On the cross!... No sinful man of our race qualifies... Only Jesus Christ the Son Of God and as scripture says is called the second Adam... Only he can satisfy all the wrath of God carry out all that is appointed to him in Genesis 3:15 and saves all his Father gave him... To try to fit sinful Adam in that scripture YOU will never understand it... No wonder very few understand, the grace of God... Salvation by Jesus Christ alone?... Take sinful Adam out of the picture and the man mentioned The God Man Jesus Christ is as clear as a bell... Brother Glen:)

Isaiah 53: 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

2 Corinthians 5: 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Being neither strictly a Calvinist nor an Arminian...I will say this:

The ONE thing BOTH systems absolutely are, is rational.

Calvinism is logically and rationally flawless; so much so, that all points must be believed and cannot stand alone.
If any one point fails, the system crumbles.

As far as a Systematic Theology goes....it's ingenius.
    It's wrong, but, it's ingenius.

    Arminianism is also rationally flawless:

NOTE: I am NOT claiming that either system is correct, or Biblical, but, they are rationally flawless.

Both systems are a master class in Systematic Theology.

So Jeremiah could be in hell right now by your reckoning?

    Sliverhair, you are getting desperate.

Austin how do you keep coming up with these stupid ideas. You are so desperate to support your deterministic view that you will say the dumbest things. Get a grip on reality, you are just going down a rabbit hole.

Your own words are the cause, Sliverhair. It was you who would not acknowledge Jeremiah's salvation.

The problem is what it seems to be with much of what you say, Austin you are reading into the text what you want to find rather than seeing what the text actually says.
