    1300 million Catholics on Earth.

If ten percent of Catholics pray to Mary at any given moment, she would have to hear 130 million prayers per second.

Even if she could hear a dozen at the same moment, God said not to communicate with the dead.

1.3 billion are NOT going to communicate with her, even though she is Blessed among women. No offense meant to Mary, very great woman; God chose her to bear the Messiah.

    Judges 5:24
Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.

“ And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. “ Rev 5:13

John “heard “ every creature and presumably in their own tongue, saying a prayer of praise to the Lamb. In Heaven, on and under the Earth.

How? John isn’t Omnipresent or Omniscient. God gave him the faculty.

Mary is alive and in Heaven.

So now you are claiming that mary is Omnipresent and Omniscient. Well since you claim she is Holy as only God can be Holy then I can see that a step to Omnipresent and Omniscient would not be a leap to far for the RCC and it's followers.

    Never said that.

John didn’t need to be Omnipresent or Omniscient but God gave him the faculty to hear all those creatures prayers.
So Mary doesn’t need to be Omnipresent or Omniscient to hear all those prayers, God makes it possible.

    And Mary is Holy.

Difference is that John was alive and mary is dead. Why do you think God needs mary to hear the prayers for Him. Can she do anything, can she grant petitions, can she forgive sin? The simple answer is NO. She is just a redeemed sinner and nothing more.

Why would anyone pray to her rather than God. But then again why would anyone pray to any of the dead people that are elevated to saint hood by the RCC. None of them can help you. Only God can do that so drop the silly prayers to the dead and pray to the living God.

Based on the scriptures you don’t understand.

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.” Heb 12:14

Don’t let your prejudice lower Mary to less than every other believer, someone would think you hate the Lord’s holy Mother.

Not lowering her to less than every other believer, just pointing out that she is just the same as all other believers. A lost sinner who has been redeemed by faith in the Risen Son.

But you should not try to elevate her over other believers either. Mary was not any more holy than any other sinner so why do you call her holy? Question for you @Cathode do you pray to other redeemed sinners if not why not and if so why? They cannot do anything for you. Can they forgive sin, can they answer petitions? Why do you spend so much time praying to her and very little praying to God in your rosary. Seems the RCC has it's priority wrong.

The RCC has introduced a number of false teachings into their theology. I have asked you a number of times to provide clear biblical support for them and you have danced around and failed to support any. Why would anyone trust an institution that can not even support it's beliefs. You keep saying tradition but you have zero biblical support for your traditions.

You should just trust scripture and jettison all the false teaching that the RCC has foisted on you. Least you get the wrong impression, I do not hate people that follow the RCC and I pray that they will come out of it as I do not believe the RCC is a true Christian institution.

Wrong. She is Holy. She is the most blessed of all women. Blessed means Holy.

In the Kingly line of David which Jesus was prophecied to be, the Mother was always Queen. Jesus being King, makes Mary Queen.

“ For he hath looked upon the lowliness of his handmaiden: For behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. “

All generations of Catholics call Mary blessed,( holy ), you seem to be busting to denigrate her.

God’s inclination is to raise the lowly, like Mary.

“he has toppled the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly.”

I don’t think there is a bright future in denigrating the Holy Mother of God.

Jesus had to follow the commandments perfectly. To honour His Father and Mother, to honour in Hebrew means “ Glorify “.

So your instinct to denigrate and belittle Mary stinks.

Mary is alive in Heaven, those in Heaven know what’s going on down on earth.

“ After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:

    “Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2 for true and just are his judgments.
He has condemned the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth by her adulteries.
He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” Rev:19:1

    @Cathode,

How do you understand the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, "none is good, save one, that is, God."? [Luke 18:19]

You as a Catholic want to raise her up in status to a position she does not have. She is just a redeemed sinner as the rest of us are. What you are claiming is not biblical but it is man made tradition.

We are to worship God, in other words we are to pray to God and no other. Every time that a Catholic prays the rosary they violate the first commandment and sin by giving glory to any creature, in this case mary, which is due to God only.

You are reaching for some way to justify your desire to raise mary up to a position she does not have. Here is a web site that gives you the hebrew bible, look at Exo 20:12. Just run the mouse over the text to see how the Hebrew text reads. While the word ַּבֵּ֥ד H3513 can be translated glorify depending upon the context it does not mean that here. It is a sad statement that you want to elevate a sinful human to equal status with our Holy God.

What Lord Jesus is saying is that, all Good comes from God, whatever Good we have in us, does not originate from us. All Goodness is from God. Like Jesus Face when we trust Him completely, we see Goodness that hurts to look at, it’s Goodness beyond our best human definition of Goodness.

No one is good of themselves, it’s only God in us that is Good.

What Jesus was encouraging the rich young man to do is sell all for the Pearl of Great price.
The young rich man was trying to be good from a young age by his own human strength by keeping the law. A huge and impossible task.
That rich young man was the best example of the best human effort could do to be good.

Jesus Loved him and wanted to give him the real Goodness that comes from God by Grace alone, by the indwelling of God. That’s not by human efforts.

When Jesus is in us and we hand over completely to Him as His followers, it’s His Goodness that shines out, real Goodness which is Eternal in merit, effect and glory.

That’s why Jesus told the dude flat out to sell everything and come follow Him. Jesus wanted to give him the real and Eternal Goodness that comes from God Alone by the indwelling Grace and Presence of God.

That’s why we see activists and social workers with big human hearts, burn out in street ministry.
We operate by Grace, it’s Jesus that works and has infinate power, love and goodness, we aren’t the source, Jesus is the source, He doesn’t burn out and despair.
Social workers ask how we can keep doing it, we tell them straight, it’s Jesus.

Goodness is Jesus Face not our face.

    Only God is good.

    Yet Christ is good.

    Inescapable conclusion:

The Lord Jesus Christ is God.

    Colossians 1:8; Hebrews 1:8.

What does the Word of GOD say? The Word is GOD, understand? Revelation 1:1: ((written decades after JESUS's ascension)

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which GOD gave unto Him, (God gave FIRST to JESUS)
    to shew unto His servants,
things which must shortly come to pass; (FUTURE)
and JESUS sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John:,
2 Who bare record of the Word of GOD -the Word is GOD-,
and of the testimony of Jesus Christ(the testimony of JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy-Revelation 19:10),
and of all things that John saw.

3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

    4 John to the 7 churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

Decades after JESUS's ascension, the Church of Rome had apostatized itself, then it was excluded by JESUS and received not any letter from JESUS because it was the embryo and the cradle of the religious and satanic antichrist power. By the way, John wrote in his 1st universal epistle, as follow: 1John 2:18-21:

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
No lie is of the truth, Mary is not in Heaven, no, she is not, absolutely not; In fact she is waiting the resurrection of this last Day, the seventh and last Day or seventh and last millennium, including her sister Martha, and the apostles, and all believers in Christ JESUS as the Scripture hath said-Daniel 12:1-3 combined with 1Thessalonians 4:14, among other biblical references.

    John 11:14 &19-&21&24

14 Jesus said unto the people plainly, Lazarus is dead.

19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

21 Martha said unto Jesus, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother had not died. 24 - I know that he shall rise again IN THE RESURRECTION AT THE LAST DAY. (that is the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium, the current millennium).

Revelation 21:8 - 8 But the fearful(the COWARDS), and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and IDOLATERS, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

    Get ready

The world press recently just announced the death of Benedict XVI. The current Pope Francis is also on the brink of death. Then must be elected the last Pope, and he will be the husband No. 266 (excluding Peter Apostle) of the Great Whore, the Roman Catholic Church. By the way, would be his religious nickname Paulus VII? I think so, because at the same time must manifest also another Beast, the Beast of earth-Revelation 13:11- a false lamb with two horns-(a false messiah/false prophet master of Torah), as was prophesied by Paul the Apostle, saying in -2 Thessalonians 2:v.3-5 and 9-12

Celebration of the Lamb's marriage? ONLY AFTER THE JUDGMENT OF BABYLON | Pure Bible Forum (and see www.sinaiticus.net )
