    Chaco Adventure: Pozo Colorado

As usual, excellent narration and photography from Tom the traveler. Pozo Colorado, hot, no power, no water, no a/c, Paraguay sounds fun, Tom.

    Site is glitchy

I'm not optimistic about it ever getting better. In fact, I expect a problem such as this to forebode the BB's final demise, VERY sad to say.

Is GOD the Author of the Bible?

I certainly was not doing that. I was following Hodge's first rule of interpretation: "The Scriptures are to be taken in the sense attached to them in the age and by the people to whom they were addressed." We are reading 'other people's mail', you know.

    The Synoptic New Birth Teaching?

I suppose you're conflating entering the kingdom of God/heaven here on earth with 'making it to heaven above'.

Is GOD the Author of the Bible?

Yea, right....apply the same elsewhere: 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous race seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet: 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they...

My thoughts and questions on "Ten Reasons Primitive Baptists Are Not Calvinists."

@Silverhair I wasn’t questioning whether you’d be there, I was implying you’d be shocked during [oxymoron alert] ‘the first two weeks of heaven’.

My thoughts and questions on "Ten Reasons Primitive Baptists Are Not Calvinists."

Lol, I’m convinced the first two weeks of heaven are going to be a shocker to us all as to who’s there and who’s NOT there, hardline free-willets like you especially.

Is GOD the Author of the Bible?

....that particular point in time. 29 But this I say, brethren, the time is shortened, that henceforth both those that have wives may be as though they had none; 30 and those that weep, as though they wept not; and those that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and those that buy, as...

    Have a blessed Thankgiving

It's my favorite holiday, brings family together for a prayer, a meal, good conversation, and kids playing all around (me growing up, the adults indulged in some serious ROOK games), but at my age I really don't need all those carbs ;) Yes! It brings us together at least once a year, and all...

Unable to Believe the “Foolish” Gospel

This is typical Vanology. See When you conflate 1 Cor 2:14 with 1 Cor 3:1-2 you get this Vanology rewrite: 14 Now babes in Christ receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto them; and they cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor 2

    Giving Under Compulsion?

    The Lexington church does this.

    Have a blessed Thankgiving

Someone else made that and did a very good job with it. Our Thanksgiving meals include four families and is a potluck affair; I'm always assigned to supply the turkey and greasy beans (this year I added dumplings). We had a very enjoyable time. Thank You LORD.

    God's Covenant with Abraham

It's a simple question Martin. Was Abram passive or not in this covenant? All the recorded covenants God made with men were unilateral except for the Sinai Covenant. Your ambiguity makes it appear like the Abrahamic Covenant was bilateral due to Abram's 'faith alone'.

    Welch Baptist History

The Creation and Fall of Man: Total Depravity The Lakeland Church believes: God created the first man and woman, Adam and Eve, after His own image and likeness; and they were upright, holy, innocent, and possessed of undying natural life. Adam and Eve were capable of continuing therein, but...

    President Trump's Cabinet

    K. So you say. I can't say that he did anything for me personally either, but, I'm immensely pleased with what he did for preserving the integrity of SCOTUS. “Ask not what your country can do for you – Ask what you can do for your country.” JFK

Did you not pay attention during his first term? Or did you hate him too much to take note?

    Anthropomorphic Language

A scriptural example of God 'remembering no more': After all the wickedness Israel had done after God had redeemed them out of the House of Bondage (unbelief, disobedience, murmuring, idolatry, fornication, rebellion, etc.), and even with Balaam wanting so badly to curse Israel, God made Balaam...
